Their Carbonara was perfectly prepared thankfully without cream producing a rich delicious sauce. My friend is vegetarian and was delighted with a delicious pizza from the Carte de Jour named Pizza Pépé. The staff were friendly and had a real understanding of the menu and wine list. The Rum Baba was truly delicious.”

It only opened this July as a family business providing sensibly priced, Asian inspired dishes in a relaxed atmosphere, every evening, right on the beach. During the day it's a fabulous beach bar with a good range of drinks, also at reasonable prices, and an eclectic mix of loungers, cushions, chairs and... pallets on beach mats - very creative! A fabulous place which thoroughly deserves all the 5* reviews and one not to miss.”

“A beautiful place just near Pichon Baron, they provide different choice at lunch. I chose Rossini for my main course, and it’s beautiful with very nice flavor. Tender canard fois gras, and crispy biscuits. The wine list is a bit expensive regarding the open market price, so we didn’t order the wine, also partly because driving. It’s a nice place to visit for a second round.”

“Beautiful restaurant, but the outside is not what it is…never ever I’ll recommend this place. Localization great. You get a table you get some salted nuts and a bottle of water, oldest trick in the restaurant business. After I sipped a bit of my water I really tough did you people get this water out of the sea so salted it was, or maybe that’s the way to safe money on the tap water bill and make some money on my thirsty. After seeing the tartare at the table next to us, I’m glad didn’t take a starter, no passion no love for food nothing and a bad presentation it was everything except looking good. My champagne coupe cocktail was served with ice out of the shaker, at least taste of cocktail was good in the beginning…. I had an entrecôte full of fat and tendon. People for such a location and bill I was expecting a better. Disappointed from start till end, sorry my tiramisu was oké. Here some feedback, don’t be so old fashioned, quality brings quantity or maybe this is something you don’t care cause the sea will always bring people to your place. So sorry cause the place looks great. Oh and pls get an other coffee supplier, even you serving Lavazza the extraction time is wrong so very bitter. And no one time someone asked if everything was nice or oké, other wise you’ll get the same answer as I wrote. What disappointing for the French Kitchen.”

“A bit disappointed We tried two versions of vegetarian Ramen, and I have to say it was rather blunt. The soup tasted more like a broth than a Ramen. The gyoza was good I think the best thing of what we have ordered. The prices on the contrary were rather low we paid 12/14€ for Ramen and seven euro for gyoza. I wouldn’t come back there better Ramen places in Bordeaux.”

“It is 4 stars for us. We booked a brunch, and got delayed on the way, so we warned them of our delay and they were kind enough to keep the table for us for 50mins (was not able to book online after 11:00 am on the day, so took the 1rst available slot online). I would say, maybe it would be easier if customers could leave a comment on the system regarding a particular booking (in case we cannot reach them by phone). It was not extremely busy, so we got lucky! The brunch options consist of combinations of items from the menu. The menu is well-thought, different textures and flavours, we would appreciate slightly bigger portions (it is a brunch after all!!!) as brunch portions are usually larger and same comments on the beverages. I recommend the Kigali tea. A lovely brunch place overall and a more welcoming attitude would go along the way.”

“A MUST visit when in pays basque. This is the best restaurant we ate at within our two weeks in the area. The view and food are unbeatable. The owners and service are outstanding. They had an infant high chair and a changing table in the bathroom for those with children like us. Family friendly- our daughter had fish and a veggie puree. Super family friendly and such a beautiful time. Also had the best dessert and salad of my life. Recommend with five stars. I will remember our meal here for years!”
