“Beautiful selection of gourmet products. This place has interesting specialty produce, a wonderful fresh fish/seafood counter, good alcohol selection and huge walk in fridge with meat/dairy from all over Europe. The small bistro at the back has a nice but small selection of seafood dishes. I had a fish soup which was delicious with a glass of Pflaz riesling. The service was very friendly and espresso was also very good. My only complaint is the price, be ready to empty your pockets when you come here.”

“A forgettable experience. We ordered beer only to find out that beer was unavailable. We ordered the prosciutto and melon (listed at the top of the chalkboard) only to find out that was not available. I kept my order to a bare minimum after that. We were offered dessert, but I opted to go somewhere reliable (McDonalds, just around the corner). We travelled a fair distance with the hope of having a pleasant evening dining with family. The dining experience was below par. We will not be going back seeing as there are plenty of businesses that provide quality of service and actually make an effort.”

“Today it was a really hot day, so we decided to treat ourselves to ice cream. We couldn’t have picked a better spot than Eisprinzessin! The selection is always changing and they all are very tasty. We tried the Stracciatella, Vanilla, Banana, Pineapple, Cinnamon and Berries of the Forrest which all were great. The ambiance is very cute with various eclectic chairs and tables under some lovely trees. We cannot wait to go again!”

“Unfortunately, the "ramen" served here has nothing to do with real ramen. The broth was underseasoned and way too greasy. The pork topping was too salty, but lacked any other flavor. And the noodle itself was probably the worst part, it was undercooked and kept sticking to my teeth when I chewed it. The only redeeming things were the egg and the lemonade. But the quality of the food is unacceptable for the price. It baffles me how anyone could give it a good rating based on the food.”

“The entrance is well hidden at the back (there is a large, cozy beer garden there in summer!) of the rustic former farm building. A steep staircase leads up to the living room of "Servus bei Yvonne". The large guest room is comfortably furnished. The side walls (right) are partly decorated with almost historical skis. On the open left side there are a few steps down to another hall for events and the sanitary areas. The guest room is equipped with three rows of tables, set in a folkloristic style with red and white tablecloths. A real(!) fireplace flickers on the front wall at the end of the guest room. The staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating without being intrusive! The food was super tasty. We had "schnitzel" with fried potatoes, cucumber salad and cranberries. The large portion (€34/small €28.90) had two really huge “lobes”! Super delicate and thin! The fried potatoes are nice and crispy and (contrary to what is often experienced) they don't drown in their own fat. Unfortunately, with these portions there was no room for dessert. Finally, there was (on recommendation) a quince brandy - hmmm! The "Servus" is certainly not a "cheap home" but the price-quality ratio is right. A visit is worth it - table reservations recommended. We'll definitely see each other again!”

“The restaurant in question delivered a deeply disappointing dining experience, marked by exorbitant pricing, lackluster food quality, and notably discourteous service. Charging 135€ for a simple meal for two consisting of legumes, white spaghetti with a scant topping of truffles, 0.5 litres of "wine" and a dessert is excessively high, especially given the mediocrity of the dishes served. The staff's behavior, particularly the waiter's, was unacceptably rude; their practice of singing the menu rather than providing a written version obscured the prices and seemed designed to mislead. Furthermore, the insistence on a tip despite the substandard service and overall experience compounded the negative impression. Such a combination of overpricing, average (being generous) food, and impolite service makes the restaurant highly unsatisfactory and not recommendable.”

“So far, my favourite getaway restaurant. I have been there multiple times with my family and friends. We are international people and can not speak German however the staff members have been very kind and nice. I love the food options. You can have an authentic German dishes experience with German pastoral scenery around. Only thing that I would be appreciated to have there is an option to pay visa card. They accept only cash or a special card (that I don't remember what type it was) and this information is in their menus but it's all in German. I also would love to have an English written menu”

“The Edenhall ist a nice tavern in the Winterhude quarter of Hamburg. They offer a fine selection of German and European cuisine as well as beers and wines. Also, they offer seasonal dishes which they change monthly. The staff is very friendly. Minor complaints: The service is a bit slow (especially with the drinks), and the location at a busy road makes the outdoor seating area a little less comfortable. But overall, a great place to spend a nice evening.”

I highly recommend the Bandeja Paisa if you want to try something new and authentic - very delicious, and everything made in-house and fresh. Had a nice pisco sour (handmade, frozen!) as well, very good! It's a little hard to find since the entry is not on the street, but rather around the corner. Cute decorations and nice music whenever we've been there. Not a huge drink selection, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Another spot we like to visit from time to time. Recommended!”
