“I've been in the Davenport area for a few days now, and a good friend of mine and his family wanted to try Lunardi's for the first time since they were new to the area.. Everyone I talked to said it was a great venue with great food, so we rolled in on a Wednesday night and gave it a shot!! Let me say this.. Lunardi's delivered a grand slam, and they were exactly as everyone recommended.. We sampled their fried ravioli appetizer, the sausage & sun dried tomatoes in cream sauce, the lasagna della casa, and fettuccine alfredo with chicken.. Each one of those was awesome in their own right, but that lasagna was the star 🌟 of the show.. Seventeen layers of seasoned Ricotta, pepperoni, meatballs, Italian sausage, and Mozzarella and Romano cheeses served piping hot from the oven in a small casserole dish.. Each of us tried it, and just over half remained to be taken home.. The service was on point, too, and the restaurant was clean and inviting.. I will most assuredly visit Lunardi's again should I visit the Davenport area in the future!! I have included pics that describe each of three dishes.. The prices on the pics are a bit dated, but each of these is worth every penny of the current prices..”

“We had my son’s birthday party last night. The workers were excellent. When games broke they were fixed right away. Questions were answered quickly. The place is very clean. My only complaint is the spooky music videos on the jumbo tron. We don’t do scary stuff at our house and that was a little unnerving. It is so great to be able to pay for an amount of game time rather than playing til your money runs out. The pizza was pretty good but not cheap. The kids had a really great time.”

The roll was nice and warm when we picked it up, and still tasted fresh when I popped it in the microwave later that day. If you don’t know what you want, many signature creations are on display as well as seasonal offerings. Customizing is easy if you have particular tastes. The rolls are so soft, like they were taken from the oven one minute early. Nothing dry about these rolls, a plain roll would be great on its own. They do sell day old plain rolls for a discount. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you are considering.”

However, I see they hired at least one new girl who was awesome. That’s how service should always be. Honey, you earned them 5-stars across the board. Hope the others learn. Anyway, back to the food, love it!!!!! We’ve tried several dishes and they’ve all been tasty. If you’re in the neighborhood and don’t mind the wait (not because of a line), you won’t be disappointed. “For a buffet this one isn't bad. As with any buffet some of the food could be fresher (especially close to closing) but the employees are always really good about getting you what pieces, etc you want. They're also open most holidays unlike a lot of other places. A little pricey but they have deals fairly often, especially if you have a members card to the casino. I would come hungry (because it's a buffet) and if you are unlucky enough to have to wait until almost closing to get dinner like I did this time, then they do tend to be more lenient with portion sizes. Of course all of this food wasn't just for me though 😉.”

“Came here around 10pm last Friday after a show. A server greeted us right away. We requested a high top by the bar because that area was more lively. There were so many drink options but the both of us were in the mood for a cocktail. I got the Sweet Heat, he got the Old Country. The food didn't take long to come out after we got our drinks. The cocktails were really good, but, oh my goodness, the pasta was amazing! They don't make their own pasta (which was perfectly al dente) but their sauces from scratch are absolutely on point! The bleu cheese in the Gorgonzola Cream was not overpowering and the other elements complemented each other perfectly. My beau got the Vodka Rigatoni--absolutely delicious! These pastas totally hit the spot and were still just as good reheated the next day! Highly recommend!!!”
