“I just adore this place and have been fortunate to frequent here a few times. Don't be intimidated or put off by the portions. My strategy is to enjoy all the delicious made from scratch sides, then eat what I want of the meat, and take the rest home. The leftover steak makes great french dip sandwiches. Yes, they have big take-home bags. The atmosphere is rustic and comfortable. The service is friendly and ultra efficient. You will be done with your meal within an hour without feeling rushed. They even have lodging available on site. You have to plan ahead to dine here. They book out a few weeks, and you need to order your meat selection when you make your reservations. A gift shop is on site, and you can also play a game of horse shoes if you have a wait.”

“So this pizza spot is obviously highly ranked already before I even put my 5-star rating in and I'll explain why. This new york-style pizza also does Detroit deep-dish but we didn't do the deep dish this time, we'll hit that up next round. So the environment is very lounge-type it has a couch corner space for drinking night caps with a good friend or potential new girlfriend or boyfriend. We ate in the back corner was a little dim but once your eyes adjust it really seemed to be fine. Wait staff was really nice and patient and was good about making sure drinks were refilled or we had second round if we wanted it. We did stop in after 9 so we tried some of their happy hour food and drinks. I didn't take a picture of it but I did have the garlic bread bites highly highly recommend they were delicious. One of the main reasons I would definitely be on board with the eating leaves again is ordering the garlic aioli as a dipping sauce. Now onto the main Pizza I always order a pepperoni with extra cheese and sausage if able to. I usually do this for the same reason as I get a nice bass of what type of pizza this restaurant will make. The pizza came out very flimsy in a traditional New York style pizzas which I'm on board with! The pizza was pepperoni sausage extra cheese and had fresh mozzarella. The sauce was light not heavy and not super zesty. The pepperonis were crunchy but not very fatty that you would normally get when you have a pepperoni pizza and the oil drips off your hand and all over. This pizza was not very oily and did not do that. So in closing check this pizza place out it's phenomenal I'll be coming back ready to try the Detroit style pizza. And bring my family along! Also we tried a dessert and we would definitely recommend it it leans a little bit on the citrus side which I do appreciate!”

“This is one of my favorite places now! The sushi is great, slightly expensive, but they're MASSIVE. They're a bit of a struggle to eat due to their size, but they're still made well, not falling apart when you pick them up. The service is also very good; the waitresses were both very pleasant, quickly seated us, and were very attentive during the meal. We also didn't have to wait long for our food. Store is very nicely decorated and is clean. Love sitting down and looking at all the decorations around the area. The only thing I didn't like was the calamari. It doesn't look like real squid, there were no tentacles (the best part), and weren't fully covered in the batter, but still pretty good.”

“We had an amazing time with the super friendly and help staff including the robots who assist with delivering your food. We ordered quail eggs as the appetizer and that was delicious! You could pick an egg out and not get all the spices or you could spoon the spices over the egg and that was Soo good! I ordered the Chicken Curry with coconut rice and that was easily one of the best meals I've ever had. We enjoyed both the avocado ice cream. So smooth and the coconut ice cream. We will be back!”

The person attending to us gave each of them two different samples of their choice when we told her it was our first time. The ice cream was creamy and delicious, totally worth it. My cup was empty before I remembered reviews was a thing and that's an excellent thing. Update: It was good so I went back. Remembered to take pictures this time. Four different flavours. The Rose flavored one was excellent if you like roses- thought it was weird but a good weird.”

“Ex Novo Brewing Co. fought hard for their 3rd place position in our Top 5. Of the 8 beers we tried everything fell above the 3.5 mark with ease. Lucky for me, and not so much for Melissa, we visited at the start of “Fresh Hop” season. Fresh hop beers are exactly what they sound like and Ex Novo had several on tap already. Their Eliot IPA, our favorite from Ex Novo, came in two fresh hop varieties – Strata and Centennial from Goschie Farms about 50 minutes south of Portland. While the standard Eliot IPA sits at a 3.85 on Untappd, the Strata and Centennial fresh hops excel past 4.1 and are clearly local favorites judging by the comments sections. Ex Novo does offer beers other than IPA’s, but for hop heads, Ex Novo is a must visit late September thru early October. If you’re not a huge fan of hops, give the Cactus Wins the Lottery a shot. The easy drinking, 4.3% Berliner with prickly pear hits the spot on a warm September afternoon.”

“Finally decided to stop in and try this place. The outside of the building is not very appealing and we have driven by a hundred times. Most of the time it looks like it is closed. But we gave it a shot and happy we did. The salsa is great. Very fresh and flavorful. The orders from the table covered a lot on the menu. The cheese and onion enchiladas are really good. Very cheesy. We had jalapeño poppers that disappeared in seconds. The tamales were very highly rated by my son. His favorite. Then my chili Colorado everyone loved. The meat was so tender and delicious. Just a great meal at a good price. We will be back”

“I ordered a double scoop of s'mores and chocolate cheesecake. The chocolate cheesecake was amazing. The s'mores was good too but it didn't compare to the chocolate cheesecake. My boyfriend ordered a hot fudge sundae with Kahlua fudge ice cream and wished his stomach had room for more. My friend ordered Oregon trail and caramel swirl and also had a pleasurable experience. Would recommend adding this to your stops in Florence.”

“Wife wanted fondue so we decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was dark, but cozy. We started out with a couple of cocktails ( as they are connected to the bar next door ) and a cheese fondue with a side of tots. The cheese was fabulous. We ordered the biggest menu item including some of everything. This was the main course. It was not as good as the cheese. Everything pre frozen. The " tiger shrimp" were small shrimp and the fresh water lobster tails looked like a cat got a hold of them. All chewed up. The beef was on the tuff side, especially being suvee cooked. The dessert round was better. We enjoyed the caramel dipping sauce; but the different dipping items were hit and miss. You should omit the apricot, it was too hard to eat. The server we had tried hard to be pleasant and explained everything well.”
