“I was nervous to visit a public bath for the first time in Japan, but everything was smooth. This bath has instructions in English as well and other visitors ladies were helpful and nice showing me at some points what should I do. Entrance ticket 470 yen, and soap, towel and shampoo - 40 yen each. But I would recommend to bring your own towel, as the rented one is very small. Don’t need slippers, or a hairdryer. There is a hairdryer with coins available - 20 yen. So if you are ok with naked people and like sauna and jacuzzi, worth visiting. Very relaxing”

“After waiting for 30mins we finally got our seats. The food sold out quickly at 1:30PM (although the opening time till 3PM), so be careful about the timing. The eel rice bowls were good. Eel is tender & crispy. Big portions of rice would fill your stomach! But some part of the eels are over-grilled, leave the bitterness in the taste. A bit pricey (2 for 11000+) vs the quality.”

“I visited around 13:00. There were about 4 people lined up in front of the store. I waited for about 10 minutes and was seated. I ordered the soy sauce ramen without bean sprouts. It's 900 yen. The ramen was ready in about 5 minutes after ordering. It is very tasty. I like it. I would like everyone to try it too. The chive spicy miso is very delicious. Recommended for different tastes. Char siu too, Loin! ? It's not that greasy, It goes very well with soup and is very delicious. It also goes well with chives, which are added to the taste. Even regular ramen contains a lot of chashu. There is a coin parking nearby, so It is also safe for those coming by car.”

“I used to come here often. I stopped by this place nearby because I wanted to eat something sweet. At a store that has been around for a long time! This is a sweet shop that is famous on Instagram. The store has been renovated and looks nice and clean. I wonder if there are more seats than before? ! The mitarashi dango was sold out, so I ordered warabi mochi and zenzai. The prices for each item are a little high. If two people enter, it will cost 3000 yen! The warabi mochi has just the right amount of softness. Each piece is large, so it's filling. It was delicious. As for the zenzai, the rice cakes are small, and the sweetness is not so sweet that it seems like there is a restriction on sweetness. Young people! Maybe a slightly lighter zenzai like this would be good? ! I thought... For people of my generation who like to eat sweet things, I think this is a bit unsatisfactory, and the aftertaste doesn't suit me. “Don't understand what is the hype and why it's so highly rated on Google. The food is alright but not worth going out of your way to eat there, considering that reservations have to be made far in advance and they only serve 4000 yen or 6000 yen courses. I've had grilled chicken in Omi-hachiman in an izakaya with much better alcohol selection and side dishes, paid much less and had a better experience. I saw other reviews saying the chef speaks very good English because he is from US, but during the whole night he was exclusively chatting with this Japanese couple and largely ignoring the other guests and I who were sitting at the counter. I'm not saying the service wasn't attentive - every course arrived promptly, but overall I didn't feel very welcome. The other staff didn't really make an effort to communicate either, they just stood around and served food. It's more of like, here's your food, now you have to order a drink (minimum one drink per person is the requirement, and not included in the course fee), we're just going to leave you be with barely any communication besides just announcing the dish. Food wise, I enjoyed the tomato appetizer, chicken neck and chicken heart, but thought the chicken thigh was like rubber and the chicken wing wasn't tender enough to eat it easily with chopsticks. Custard pudding was meh. The green pepper didn't have all the seeds scraped out, which the chef should know makes the pepper bitter and unpleasant to eat and shows a lack of attention to detail. Customers next to me didn't finish their rice dish and ramen.”
