“We initially just ordered some in house "impossible" burgers for pick up, but when I saw the plate options, I had to order it. I'd recommend going early to get to choose from everything, but the owners were so friendly and accommodating on fixing me up with whatever they could. Everything was so flavorful. The fresh juices/smoothies are great too! You could tell it was made with TLC. It's not a dine in place really but they have a few cute tables in the front. Can't wait to be back after my next hike at Arabia mountain nearby.”

“As convenient as this is, I think they're definitely taking advantage of the fact that there aren't really many grocery stores in this area, especially walking distance. No one wants to have to hop on Moreland just to get some eggs (especially if you don't have a vehicle). Their sister market, Grant Park Market, not only has a larger selection of things including bread, dairy, produce, grains, and frozen foods, but the actual quantity of those items is larger for less price... I genuinely can't believe every time I walk in there that a jar of pickles, for example, is ~$8... I understand that a lot of their products are local, and of course I appreciate that, but having seen the exact same products at Grant Park market for sometimes up to half the price for twice as much seems pretty ridiculous. I think a large point of having local markets is making things convenient for people not only with proximity, but also allowing people access to relatively affordable goods. I wish they considered that the way GPM somewhat has.”

“This place isn't close, but it was worth the 1 hour drive! I ordered the tempura combo, gyu don and the saba shioyaki and sashimi combo. Everything was excellent! The staff was friendly as soon as I walked in, and although I had to drive over 1 hour back, the food was still warm when I opened it. Everything had great flavor and it blew my taste buds away. The tempura became soggy, but the flavor of it with the sauce was good! The gyu don was super tender and tasted great on its on and with the rice. It packed a ton a flavor and made a hearty meal. The sashimi was super fresh and tasted great with the wasabi, and the shioyaki was super tender and had excellent flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new or wants to expand their palate with great flavors. It also has a store stockef with products straight from Japan so before or after you eat, you can also buy things to take home. I will definitely be coming here again!”

“These eponymous stone bowls are so hot that the sizzle that comes from one of these stone bowls are conversation-halting, much in the way that necks crane for a passing fajita platter. Every single one of us at the table ordered a bibimbap - a mixed rice dish with veg, a protein, and spicy red pepper paste - in one of these bowls, with nary a complaint upon eating. One of the best parts of ordering bibimbap in a stone bowl is the char that forms in the rice layer most proximate to the hot bottom and sides, which adds the most incredible texture to the dish. Personally, I measure a restaurant's bibimbap by how much of that rice becomes well-crisped, and by those standards, Stone Bowl House won the game of all the Korean bibimbaps I've had to date in the Atlanta area. The banchan, or free side dishes, are decent. I didn't find any standouts bites, but they tasted fresh and acted as faithful sidekicks to the meal. Along with the standard plates of kimchi and spicy fermented radish cubes, there were sesame oiled bean sprouts, pickled shishito peppers, marinated fish cakes, wood ear mushrooms, and their slightly sweeter version of cole slaw. It's notable that the restaurant offers up to five free refills before an added charge (which is far more generous than other Korean restaurants in the area that shall not be named). With our meals, we also enjoyed a small miso soup that helped to cool down our mouths after the fiery mouthfuls of bibimbap. If there were any disappointments, it was the haemul pajeon, or the seafood pancake. It was slim on the namesake seafood and a little thicker and breadier than I usually prefer. I love the way other Korean restaurants serve theirs on a sizzling platter, but these were delivered on a regular plate and therefore were quick to cool and lose some of their initial luster. Our party of four was seated in one of the semi-private side spaces, where we felt tucked away from the crowd but received just as attentive service as any of the other tabled customers.”

“DONT EAT HERE!!!! Food was not fresh. I ordered a small General tso chicken and the breading on the chicken tasted old as if they fried a bunch yesterday refrigerated it and refried it with sauce today. Terrible tasting!!! The chicken wasn’t even tossed in the sauce. Check out my picture. Also they have a low B rating. Im pretty sure based on the stale chicken their next score might be a C rating. That chicken was definitely old. I also ordered house fried rice and it was meh!!!! Don’t do it!! Maybe the locals around don’t know good Chinese food so they rate it good or maybe depending on the day and time they cook fresh fried food.”

“If you're looking for authentic Ethiopian food then this is the spot. It helps to go with someone that knows how to order or is possibly Ethiopian but normal everyday people can figure the menu out for sure. Also they have helpful staff. The outside of the building is a little sketchy but sometimes those are some of the best places. The inside looks like a little village and had a cool vibe. The food was served in a unique way and the seating was nice and private. We would like to explore the menu more on a return visit. I would also mention that the pricing was very good for the amount of food that you get.”
