“Had a wonderful lunch, all food excellent. The cod roe and small green peppers starter was an inspired combination, exciting the tastebuds and leaving me primed for the main course. The sirloin on the bone for 2 was one of the best steaks I've had for a very long time. Chocolate nemesis pudding with a side of cherries was a deconstructed Black Forest Gateaux. “I came here whilst waiting for my car to be 're-shod'. I had a pot of tea and a cupcake. The staff are very friendly and courteous. This is a popular place to come at the weekend and I think it's best to reserve a table if you want lunch. The setting is lovely: sky lights and plenty of atmosphere. There's a garden to sit in as well when the weather permits.”

“Absolutely awful food and customer service. Server thinks it’s okay to whack 3 pots of curry sauce at the bottom under all the food, got home and they’re absolutely squished, sauce all over the bottom of the bag. Regular cod looking like a small battered sausage, tastes awful, like an aquarium too, gone off. Absolutely awful chip shop, think they need to get retrained and order new stock. Abysmal portion size, way overpriced. Get in the bin!”

Refer to pics. Full order inedible. Avoid... Escalated to Customer Services as advised by said staff member. Less than 1 star.. Already had a response from CS Team having seen the photos. Not the standard expected, apparently! I concur!”
