“One of the most fantastic wineries in Margaret River with a wide variety wines for self service wine tasting. We even met the owner Mr. Happy who personally served us along with his helpful and friendly staff. The outdoor set up among the beautiful garden backdrop was just priceless. There was also a lovely 2 storey art & crafts shop with Dash the adorable gallery cat. The garden view from the top floor was worth checking out, too! Happs is a must go to winery!”

“We had a wonderful dining experience for lunch on a Sunday at Flutes. From Sarah’s excellent customer service for our booking a month ago to Kirsty’s customer service on the day of dining, the service has been friendly, prompt and responsive. We were pleasantly surprised by the intimate number of diners on our arrival as there were only 3-4 other tables during our 2 hours stay. The venue is gorgeously luscious with greenery from the car park to the hotel entry, and the ground offers breathtaking view of the lake. We had the set menu for 2 adults for 3 course complete with a kids set menu too. The serving time was nicely spaced out with Kirsty checking in often to gauge how we were going. Unfortunately both the beef entree and mains were sold out on the day but we were able to choose different item from the set menu. The interior restaurant is modern and the air con was a welcome relief from the summer heat outside. The presentation was also lovely while the only ‘complaint’ from my kids are there were no chocolate ice cream, only vanilla or raspberry sorbet. The duck leg could also be a bit juicer but this is personal preference only. Overall a wonderful dining experience.”

The high level attention to food courses, wine pairing and service has been a point of difference and brought us back all this time. Was bitterly disappointed today to find it is going down the 'pub' track...no table service, order at the counter...such a shame. The greater the profit seems to be the focus..shame on the new owners.”

“One of the best wines in Margaret River personally. The building itself is also nice. You can enjoy good wine with a nice view at the counter. Wine and atmosphere were definitely worth 5 star, but a staff member who served us was a bit snobbish, so minus one.”
