“I’ve been looking for a great japanese/ramen restaurant in Rome for a while, and Hokusai Ramen has it all! The location is great and in love with the design of the restaurant. It also has a small Japanese store with many cute things! Gyozas were great. I LOVED Takoyakis here and everything about the ramen was incredible! There’s a great variety to choose from on the menu and I’ll visit again for sure. There are also some great desserts that are quite difficult to find in restaurants in Italy. Definitely a must!”

“It was the last dinner in Rome. And it was tragic. It is difficult to understand where the starter is and where the main course is. The flavor combinations are incredibly bad. It was the first time that the pictures and the taste did not match at all. There were five of us and we ordered a lot of food, but most of it was inedible, leaving me hungry. I really like sweatbreads and the first time I couldn't eat it because it was inedible, smelly, and unchewable. It was probably the worst experience in Italy. The service was also hit and miss, had to repeat several times before they were able to take the order. I don’t understand how they are able to receive good reviews? Please avoid that place and go somewhere else. It was a waste of money.”

I had the rice balls (HUGE and flavourful) and donuts (literally tastes how I remember normal donuts tasting) and pistachio croissants. This food was go good it had me considering moving to Rome and getting a job here for the discount... They also sell gluten products to take away!”
