“The food and the service was really amazing. The service was really attentive. We also enjoyed the convivial atmosphere. The only critique would be that there was’nt a wine menu combination option. The waiter did perfectly match the wines per glass, however we would have preferred a half a glass menu option with the 7 course menu to really perfectly match every course with a glass of wine, to bring it to the next level. One glass was to much for one course. We did however really enjoyed the whole dinner experience.”

“Great vibe, thoroughly enjoy all the dim sums. We also ordered the eggplant dish, it tastes delicious. The dishes are quite a small service, and we need a bigger portion. Maybe I am so used to the traditional Chinese serving sizes :) In terms of service, the one with African background was good. The rest of the staff needs to be more alert and brush up on their attentiveness skills. Overall, it has a great vibe & enjoyable dim sum.”

I was pleasantly surprised when he greeted each and every client during the lunch service. The 3-course lunch is more than affordable, especially for Michelin star quality! Don’t both with an expensive bistrot and enjoy the terroir / ancestral produce and recipes with a twist. Highly recommend and will go back next time I’m in Paris.”

“One of the best meals we’ve had in Paris. Sardine sandwich transported me to my Russian-Ukrainian childhood and for a few minutes the world went quiet and nothing else mattered. The most succulent blood sausage wontons with ridiculously good crunch, and perfectly cooked scallops on a bed of mustard sauce with a dollop of 2 kinds of mustard, paired with a cute block of potato gratin. Everyone went over and above to make my husband and I feel welcomed. There was an obvious language barrier. The waiter took the time to translate the whole menu for us- even googling pictures. The food was so yum, the bread so fresh, the flavours so delicious. I would eat here in a heartbeat. Beetroot tart, lobster ravioli and frog legs for starters— we ended up ordering seconds on the frog legs and lobster ravioli! The pork chop was sliced and cooked perfectly, with great smokiness. The cod fish entree and the cauliflower sides were also superb. Elmer is quite different from many French restaurants in its lighter and more delicate flavors.”
