The food was amazing, portions needed to be bigger though. It was my birthday and i got glass of bubbly and a small dessert. The food did take over an hour to arrive, the service was amazing but i had to take a star off for the wait. Chocolate tart was insanely good. Would come back but the portions left something to be desired.”

For just £23, it stands out as the most value-packed and scrumptious Thai buffet I’ve ever had in the UK. The spread showcased a delightful variety: the skewered roasted pork was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the curry rice carried a depth of flavors that was satisfying, and the coconut noodle soup was creamy with just the right hint of sweetness. Don’t even get me started on the roasted duck noodle soup; its rich broth and tender duck pieces were the stars of my meal. If you’re in Banbury, don’t miss the chance to indulge in “Thai Orchard’s” exquisite buffet spread!”

“Food distinctly average and consequently overpriced- to be fair they are currently advertising for a chef so should have realized it was going to be poor in the interim. Food took over an hour and a half to arrive although to their credit we were notified there was going to be a wait as there were a number of large parties in at the same time. Sadly it was not worth the wait. Staff didn’t seem to realize they were in the client service industry - monosyllabic, inattentive and at times overly familiar. We had to follow up on our drinks orders to ensure they actually arrived at the table.”

Serving staff are basically untrained teenagers who have no real interest, the food was slow to come out (more than 1/2 hour for a starter) and the main dish was an inedible tiny portion of reheated ox cheek for £21!! Utterly ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that the bar had very little stock and the menu had all of the popular items out of stock! Genuinely will never return to this beautiful looking pub until the management change. The current licensee’s really don’t seem to care, which is sacrilege.,”

“We popped into the Pickled Ploughman on Halloween as we were staying in Adderbury. The food, wine and service were excellent and we had a lovely experience. I had crab tart, steak and local hooky ale pie and finished with a mixed berries cheesecake. Delicious! Worth stopping for if you are in the area for sure 😊”

“An intimate cafe with highly personalised service and flavourful food to match. From being greeted by the nicest guy in the world, Jack, to tasting the best egg & avocado toast... ever. (thank you to the chefs!) It really is a special experience when you visit Quince and Clover. No matter who came in, the staff knew them by name, what they were having to drink and even how they liked their eggs in the morning... I have never seen service like it. It's like a big family visiting here. Warm and calm. There isn't enough words in the dictionary to explain my morning here today. I'm blown away and will be coming back. Special thank you to Jack for going the extra mile! He took the time to learn about my tastes and recommend food/drink to match. “Been eyeing this place since I got to Oxford. Glad I made it over. Had to wait outside for 15-20 minutes for my order because they were busy and there was no space inside. The two things I ordered, the custard buns and the Sichuan pork dumpling noodles, both came out hot. Noodles and broth were both really, really good. I don't know what it was about them (five-spice? fish sauce??), but I could've eaten another bowl on taste alone. In contrast, I didn't like the pork dumplings very much, and could've done without them. Spice level is enough to make your nose run but never overwhelms the taste of the food. Disappointed I only got two custard buns, but they were the definitely the sweet ending I needed.”
