“The ferry is a very cozy place, they open only on Saturdays and Sundays, it's at the heart of Glasgow City center. They serve food till 8:30 but drinks is been sold downstairs and they also have guest artists come in to serenade people and all. It's actually quite cheap and they have the 3-course meal. The wash room is very standard and neat, it's a really great view at night.”

There is also a more expansive menu with higher costing dishes which appear to be very authentic. The food was great and a party of 10 was catered for with no problems whatsoever.”

“Lovely Japanese restaurant on Great Western Road in the trendy heart of Glasgow's West End. Stopped for a bite to eat on a wet and windy winter's evening. We received a warm welcome and were seated immediately. The menu is compact (which is a good thing, as they cook a small selection very well). I had rice with sirloin steak and my companions, chicken and prawn respectively. The food was great and very, very tasty 🤩 I will come again next time I am in Glasgow 😎”

“First time and impressed by the friendly and attentive staff, the place itself is airy, bright and nicely decorated with if you weren’t sure Greek mementos. We had help on the menu as two novices on the Greek cuisine : we went for the chicken gyros, and the sweet potatoes and halloumi burger and a side of mix vegetables in a lovey tomato sauce . The bill came as £36.50 and that with 2 small glasses of wine. Very happy with everything 😎”

“I introduced my parents to Six By Nico for a special occasion and they absolutely loved it. We will 100% be back. It was such a nice way to make a good memory and this will now be our go to restaurant when we have anything to celebrate. The restaurant itself is intimate, beautifully clean and in one of the best pockets of the Southside. Our host Ryan could not have been lovelier, he was chatting away about Arran to my Mum and was so attentive the entire time, walking them through all the dishes. Thank you to the Chef for making such incredible food and for a lovely day!”

“Went for starting drinks for my hen do early afternoon on a Saturday. Great drink selection, cool cocktail tree and a nice photo wall but unfortunately in the middle of the day it's exactly how you expect to find a night club when the lights are turned on. Toilets were really revolting, no toilet paper in any, most blocked, which is not pleasant when sober and dressed up nicely for a day of cocktails, floor sticky and music too loud. Not quite the place I thought it was when I booked it.”

“I went to this restaurant a year ago and it was one of my favourite in Glasgow. Unfortunately it has declined substantially. Three items from the already small menu were out of stock meaning there was no meat option on the menu at all; despite us having a reservation and being expected. We ordered plates that didn’t arrive, wine was also out of stock and ingredients were listed on the menu but barely featured on the plate (again I can only assume due to stocking issues). The prices were incredibly high despite very limited choice, tiny portion sizes and extremely limited options due to poor stocking. Other customers were equally unimpressed which didn’t help the atmosphere. Staff were polite but did omit things from our order in error. All in all, this is incredibly poor value for money.”
