Closed until 12:00 PM

1000 Ann St, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006, Australia

“This family owned and run restaurant always delivers. High quality and authentic Fine dining Italian food. An excellent array of classics and modern dishes. One of the best Italian establishments in town. Tony the owner goes over and above to make sure you are well looked after. He knows traditional hospitality and service and for the restaurants size and popularity, it’s amazing to watch him work the room and keep the house in order. That is very rare these days.”

Flour And Stone

Closed until 07:00 AM

53 Riley St, Woolloomooloo NSW 2011, Australia

“Flower and Stone Bakery is absolutely amazing! Their cakes are divine and will satisfy any sweet tooth. While it would be great if they offered alternatives to pork gelatin for their other desserts, their overall selection is still impressive. Jackie provided excellent service and made our day off to a fantastic start! 🍰😊 My favourite was Mango & Coconut Bundt. I wish they made it in a cake, would love to get it for my birthday.”

Stone & Wood Brewery Byron Bay.
4.7
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

100 Centennial Cct, Byron Bay NSW 2481, Australia

“It's a lovely venue. We had the pulled pork burger with fries. It's fairly priced and was delicious. I tried their beers in the past, but as before, I couldn't stand the flavour. In fairness, I haven't tried a pale ale from any brewer that I liked. Which brings me to the conclusion that I'm not a pale ale/craft beer drinker. I tend to stay with Carlton on tap, Corona, Carlton Dry stubbies, Asahi, Peroni, etc. Also, my go-to drinks are Talisker whiskey on ice or a great gutsy apple cider, or Vodka fresh lime and soda. Service at the Brewery was slow. However, once again, to be fair, it was 2 days before new year, and the place was packed to the roof with tourists.”

“Ruse is a hidden gem in Parramatta. It serves very delicious modern Australian food. Their food is bold in flavours and well-balanced to suit the multi-cultural dynamic of this suburb. What’s so special about Ruse is that their waitress/waitresses are very friendly and they even remember their regular customers.”

Basil's Fine Foods

5/36 South Anchorage Dr, Mindarie WA 6030, Australia

“Cannot speak highly enough of this store products and perfection of quality. Butchers are amazing below are 🍔'Hot Pockets' double beef patty with jalapenos and onions wrapped in bacon and cheese. Coffee eclairs are also my favorite, with cakes for events or muffins and slices for a treat. Deli holds a lot of ideas for a dinner or leveling up on your next catch up with friends with side like potato and bacon patties, pasties, scotched eggs, pies, panini's with a variety of feelings and a variety of quiche.”

Corica Pastries

106 Aberdeen St, Northbridge WA 6003, Australia

“The Apple Strudel here is brilliant - the mini one also. But I would say that’s it. I have tried a few other items from here - generally been a hit and miss. Some are good - some not so much. I had a Honey cake from here last week and it was quite dry. Would still give a 4 stars because the Strudel is simply that good.”

“An amazing Italian shop full of fresh bread, Italian desserts, hot food, pizza, and coffee! I got the Vanilla Mousse Entremet and it was delicious! My brother also really enjoyed his Ferrero Rocher Cannoli, and for dinner our family shared a delicious pizza, which was amazing value for what we paid! The service was also lovely. Thanks so much guys!”

“Good God, this is good bread! Deserves good company. PS: If you're on Australia's east coast and looking for great European style sourdough bread (dense, flavoursome, almost meaty), make a small detour and come to Yallingpup Woodfired Bakery. You'll thank me.”

Hellyers Road Distillery
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

153 Old Surrey Rd, Havenview TAS 7320, Australia

“We booked for lunch at Hellyers Road after the distillery tour and neither experience disappointed. The tour is an interesting and informative behind the scenes look at the operation of a distillery and the process for making a good whiskey. If you're a whiskey lover, it's worth paying for the taste of their 19 year old. And is you're REALLY a whiskey lover, you'll invest in the opportunity to bottle your own (complete with wax sealed lid and numbered bottles). The tour takes about an hour so plan your dining accordingly. We started with the soup of the day - tomato - which was declared a winner... until the mains. The whiskey cured trout was raved about and probably topped the excellent fillet steak and the delicious pie. All serves were generous and tasty (did I mention the whiskey cured trout?). Service was friendly and polite, if a little slow (but we weren't in a rush). Would definitely return for a meal when next in the area.”

Rick's Artisan Pies & Sourdough
4.7
( 16 reviews ) $$
Closed until 05:30 AM

140-142 Eumundi Noosa Rd, Noosaville QLD 4566, Australia

“Visited around 8am during the week and though a few other customers, we were served almost instantly and luckily hadn’t had to queue. The display of pies especially, though also cakes and other goodies, is extensive. If I were a pie eater (at 8am?!🤣) then I would’ve opted for one as they had great appeal. I have also heard they do a prawn & snapper fish pie here which is the nuts so perhaps I’ll pop back in another time to grab one of those. I wanted to pop in here for a while as my partner had been going on about it and I was not disappointed. A really beautiful bakery offering delectable treats of all kinds. I tried the Ham & Cheese Croissant and partner had a brekkie wrap with bacon eggs and salad (both heated up). The croissant was golden, plump and crunchy in all the right ways. The cheese that resided inside was rich and creamy, accompanying the thick cuts of butchers ham perfectly. Delicious to say the least. Coffee was also on point. Partner finished his wrap in all of about 3 seconds so I wasn’t able to photograph it but given he ate it the way he did, I’d say it was also very nice. Parking is scarce with maybe 2/3 spaces right out front so that may be an issue but it’s a bakery, you likely won’t be waiting long for a spot or have any problems parking briefly alongside the petrol station. 🥐”

Rosso Pomodoro Balmain
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

360 Darling St, Balmain NSW 2041, Australia

“Rosso Pomodoro truly impressed us! The pizzas were not only delicious and crispy, but the service was also exceptional. Our dinner with a group turned out to be an excellent decision, as the restaurant easily accommodated all of us. The pizzas were flawlessly cooked, boasting a no-frills, down-to-earth woodfire flavor. The appetizers provided a great variety to choose from, and we concluded our meal with indulgent pistachio tiramisu and calzone, perfect comfort food for a chilly winter evening. We even sampled each dessert item, and every dish was a delectable delight. As a pistachio enthusiast, I adored the pistachio tiramisu, though the calzone, while sweet and satisfying for those with a sweet tooth, felt a bit heavy. The pizzas truly stole the show with their thin, crispy crust that avoided any sogginess. With a plethora of authentic Italian options, Rosso Pomodoro left us spoiled for choice, and we appreciated the absence of unconventional toppings like ham and pineapple.”

Young George

“Amazing food and great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Food was gone so fast I didn't even get a chance to take a photo. Would strongly recommend. We ordered a great spread of share food, the beef, the milkbun chicken and the carrots were my highlight.”

Tailem Bend Bakery

61 Railway Terrace, Tailem Bend SA 5260, Australia

“Stopped in to try a few bits on my drive through to Melbourne. The savoury slice and a plain pie (I wanted the chunky but ended up with a mince). The pie was a pie. Nothing special to report about but the savoury slice was a revelation. I would stop in just for this if I'm anywhere near it.”

Flour & Chocolate Patisserie Northgate
4.7
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 06:30 AM

78 Old Toombul Rd, Northgate QLD 4013, Australia

“Delighted I made the detour to visit Flour and Chocolate, about 30min before they closed on a Thursday afternoon. Needed a special selection of treats for afternoon tea, and there were (luckily!) plenty to choose from. Small options and full cakes. Staff were brilliantly helpful, and genuinely kind. The person who took care of me seemed so happy with my selection and offered genuine wishes of enjoyment. Cakes were awesome, and I had decent vegan and flourless options. Have additional pantry items, including pasta, relishes, chocolate and bickies, nuts, and some preserves. Should return and enjoy some savoury snacks in the gorgeous covered patio. Wish I’d taken more photos! One of the few places I’ve seen a good looking Paris Brest.”
