We were with suitcases and the staff suggested that we put them in their room so that the suitcases would not interfere with anyone. There are not very many tables, and the opening hours are limited, but the place is popular. I advise you to book a table in advance.”

“Friendly staff, normal prices, small pastries and pizzette were good but unfortunately I thought the bread was very bad! The kind of tasteless foamy stuff you find sold as "Italian bread" in American supermarkets. But maybe some people like that? I would say I just got the wrong kind but we tried several kinds. Would return for things other than bread.”

“We didn’t have a choice apart of this restaurant. Service there was an absolute rubbish. We have ordered vine, that was served about 10-15minutes after our order. Waiter messed up with our first starter. Fried squid was disgusting. They chopped this one into pieces for some reason. Second order was mixed grill. That was undercooked. This place is a rubbish. If you would have a chance avoid this area. P.S. me and my son suffer with a diarrhea straight away in less than 1 hour after our lunch there.”

“I ordered a cake, very similar to the classic trifle, for my friend's birthday and I was more than satisfied with the result! The dessert presented itself aesthetically well, (I attach photos) very fresh and excellent in flavor due to its balanced mix of both the syrup and the filling. In practice, the dessert was composed of layers of soft sponge cake superimposed and soaked in alchermes and rum, with alternating layers of custard and dark custard then completed with a covering of cream and toasted almond flakes. A combination of incredible flavors! The birthday girl, of Abruzzo origins, was enthusiastic about the cake. Upon tasting it, it reminded her a lot of "sweet pizza from Abruzzo". The guests all enjoyed the dessert so much that they ordered an encore! I would like to congratulate "the experts", also on behalf of the birthday girl. I highly recommend this bakery! We saw this reviewed on Youtube by a local guy, then researched it a bit and it seems to me to achieved their aim of taking an out of centre Osteria grub to where you normally find overpriced / stereotypical offers. My tip would be two go for a selection of half portion pastas so you can try most. The Cacio & Pepe is otherworldly 😮‍💨 Special mention for the staff & lady Alessandra at the till, they were all so genuinely pleasant & pros at what they do.”

The "salame di cioccolato" is good but don't stare at it too long in the window or my grandma might flex and say hers is better and promise she'll make you one but obviously won't cos you're just a stranger in the Parioli avenue.”
