“With more than 25 craft breweries all in northern Colorado and specifically Fort Collins, Funkwerks Hass to be at the top portion of the list. A small taproom brewery that goes perfectly with the small time feel of Fort Collins. In addition to the tap room with seats at the bar and a few tables. There is also a very large outdoor patio, as well as a small stage for live music in the spring and summer. The beer flows like the rivers of Capistrano with multiple types of beer and flavors. They always have a rotation of beers on tap and some unique bruise and flavors. My favorite combination is mixing the Tropic king and the pineapple sour. You won’t find this brewery along the beaten path in old town because it’s Tucktaway in a very convenient location right off of Highway 14 and on the outskirts of old town Fort Collins, Colorado. Whether you’re visiting or you live here this is a must stop brewery to pop in and have a beer or two. They also have decent parking and bike racks to lock up your bike. They also sell really cool hats, T-shirts, hoodies and more in Funkwerks Schwag.”

The fire hydrant behind the store was looking at me funny, though Erica was the most splendid person I’ve ever met. She made my day and my whole week 10 times better, I really just wish that I could live in Rita’s ice place. That would be my one improvement but other than that it’s pretty awesome on a scale from super good to great.”

“I gotta say, we love this store and it's "our supermarket." It's only a few minutes from our house and we go about once a week, sometimes more. The selection is always good. The produce is very nice. We are very partial to the fried chicken and the bakery. We get all of our birthday cakes here. The clerks are always pleasant and helpful and we enjoy a quick chat while our groceries are checked out. We use the pharmacy and we're very happy with the pharmacists, who are professional, helpful, and efficient. We particularly enjoyed a visit from the Oscar Meyer Weener Mobile last spring. It was a cute and community-spirited thing to offer. We did find a small mistake in one of the sales tags in the produce section, which gave us a good chuckle. I submitted it to Next with Kyle Clark and I was delighted when they put it on the air.”

From custom cakes for special events to duck eggs sourced locally, this shop has it all. They even offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Can’t recommend them enough!”

“The employees are so amazing here!! I was greeted with a smile and a sincere asking of how my day was going. As I perused the plethora of flavors, the female employee informed me that they do samples and asked if I wanted to try anything. I opted to try peppermint and apple cider. I inquired if they did half scoops and was informed by a male employee that they could but only in a cup. For my cone, he suggested kids' scoops so I got a kids' scoop of birthday cake and a scoop of peppermint. The service I received at this Baskin rivals that of a 4 diamond restaurant. Management is definitely doing something right at this location!!”

“They make delicious donuts but I’m not sure how much higher prices can go that folks can afford them. A dozen donuts are like $17 (including tax)?! It’s not sustainable with inflation. I definitely can’t afford that sadly, even for special occasions. 😮‍💨 Went for National Donut Day this week and, of course, it was packed with a long line waiting. You got a free glazed donut (my absolute fave) donut but if you wanted to take advantage of their deal for the day - you had to buy a dozen glazed donuts $17 and then your second dozen would be $2 as a variation of a Buy One, Get One for $2. The worker that served us was quite kind despite the chaos. I think it’s great they offered free donuts for everyone! It’s also really cool you can literally watch the donuts being made into absolute perfection. Kids especially love getting to watch the process and you can feel the excitement in the air with anticipation. Tip: This particular shop has a tight small parking lot that always seems to be overflowed/backed up onto the main road. So be prepared and possibly go around to park near the other restaurants next to them and walk over.”
