“Best food on the island so far! Swordfish cooked perfect. Scallops wrapped in Prosciutto ham had an amazing smokey flavor. Unique drink options not seen in other restaurants. The atmosphere was quaintand and intimate. I was concerned that the music would be overpowering, yet they have done a remarkable job in accoustics to allow low conversations to be conducted if you needed to. Music was exciting with a fantastic man on the keys and Savannah music Hall of Fame keyboardist Eric Jones. I don't know if he regularly plays here, so keep your eye out for future opportunities to hear him. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”

“I used to love this store, but something is wrong of late. No one working checkout so you have no choice but to self-checkout even if you have 30 items. At these prices, it’s not unreasonable to expect someone to scan and bag your groceries. But most egregious is the drastic decline in the quality of the meat. Last time I was in there, I couldn’t even find a USDA Choice steak…the best they had was Select…and if I want that I’ll go to Food Lion. I’m .rating 3 stars because of what this store used to be…today, unfortunately, it probably deserves 2. I hope someone in Lowe’s management sees this and can turn this place around.”

Barkeep we’re usually very friendly and the pace is broken up into two sections. 1 for the main taproom and the other will a full bar. All in all the experience was great and enjoyed the brews! The menu has changed to more of a bar style menu that you can get in most average bars, so it was good but a little disappointing. The drinks were okay. The restaurant was very crowded. It's great they are popular and busy. I'm super happy to see this. However, you need to get there early for a seat and be prepared to be crowded. The staff and everyone was extremely friendly. Will be back. Hopefully, this place will continue to grow and improve.”

“We had a GREAT first experience at IL Focolare on a Wednesday evening. It's a cozy environment and even on a weeknight was quite crowded. So you probably should go early or make a reservation. It is definitely worth it! Since it was our first time, we ordered three pizzas for the three of us, far too much food but we wanted to sample more than just one. All pizzas were amazing. You can't beat the standard pepperoni with their delicious little pepperoni "cups". The roasted mushroom pizza was also delicious as was the spicy double pepperoni. The crust has an amazing chew, perfect on the bottom and the edges are wonderfully chewy. We also shared a chopped salad that had lots of "extras" in the lettuce (pepperoni cubes, at least two different cheeses, olives, etc.). Nicole was a fantastic server. This place is a hidden gem! It is a small dining room so be prepared to get there early or you might not get a table. It's worth your visit. No gratuity policy is refreshing and we were happy to pay slightly higher price in lieu of the additional tip. We will definitely be back.”

“I was so hopeful, but this food was just awful. By far the worst Chinese food I've ever had, with the exception of another Myrtle Beach Chinese restaurant. Sesame chicken texture was stringy, and the sauce may have been sweet and sour sauce - it was red. Sesame seeds sprinkled over the top did not magically turn it into sesame chicken. Steamed dumplings had an odd taste and texture. I don't even know what was in the egg roll. Fried rice was yellow and tasteless. I have had Chinese takeout all over the country, both good and bad, and this was by far the worst. I really wanted to like this place. I'm sorry. Don't eat here.”
