Little Pie Company

Closed until 10:00 AM

424 W 43rd St, New York, NY 10036, United States

“Nice neighborhood pie shop. It features a variety of pie, bread loafs, and drinks. The sour creme walnut apple pie is our favorite, but the sweet potato, key lime, and cheese cakes also are pretty good. The cool thing about this shop is that the owner is there to make sure things are going accordingly to plan and mingle with the customers. A nice touch.”

“I am a baker and I fall in love with Fabrique. The cardamom buns hands down the best in the city- the cardamom grinds are very right-front and center. Try cardamom almond cream buns and you are up to a big surprise. I love how the buns is bien cuit and crispy on top. The almond cream portion is generous mixing with peppery cardamom. The saffron raisin buns are worth mentioning too, so aromatic. Lastly, the crispy bread is addictively yummy. Bravo! I”

“I ordered a cake from Empire Cake for my husband’s birthday. I have to say that not only was it gorgeous, it was one of the best tasting cakes I have ever had, no exaggeration (it was the Liz Lemon). They delivered it on time to the restaurant hosting the party without any issue too. Highly recommend this bakery!”

“It is a really nice restaurant with a lot of tables. We came on Saturday night, and it was pleasantly busy. The waitress was super nice. The food was good, but I felt like the vegetable dishes were extremely small. I ordered the fish with two sides, and it came with a tiny piece of fennel and mostly onion for $36. The beetroot dish was also very small for $19. We were recommended to order bread . I didn’t want to fill up with bread.”

Sake Bar Hagi
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

245 W 51st St, New York, NY 10019, United States

“I went to Sake bar Hagi last Tuesday. That's fun time to find the new spot of the Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere inside was cool. They decorated their restaurant with Japanese comics and they got nice stuff from Japan to make you feel like you have a drink after you finish work in Japan. They also got the arcade game in front of the restroom. For the food is little bit high sodium in everything. But the waitress told me that their chef went on vacation so the temporary chef but overall is great. Just highly recommend you to told your waitress when you order for low sodium food and you should be okay. We also have the unagi don which if I forgot to take a photo. That's awesome dish too. If you looking for something to drink after work in Manhattan. This place is not the bad idea.”

Empire Steak House East
4.3
( 16 reviews )

151 E 50th St, New York, NY 10022, United States

“We decided on family style & it was great. The wine selection had something for everyone and for those who don't like wine, the bar was also well stocked. For dinner we enjoyed several different menu items including the porter house, A5 Wagyu ($320), and every side. The mac and cheese surprised everyone due to it's rich cheesy flavor (I know that's what you expect, but this was better than most). The shrimp were jumbo size and delicious. For dessert, we devoured the plate. This is the perfect restaurant to celebrate any occasion. It's warm ambiance and elevated service made the experience a memorable one.”

Bizcocho De Colores Party Supply

“Very disappointed. We placed an order online and the cake was dry, hard and it tasted a few days old. The cake was $90 dollars and it only had one line of filling. Not worth the price. This was to expensive for what we got. We are never buying from this place again. NO COMPRE EN ESTE LUGAR! Muy mala calidad y muy caro para lo que recibes.”

Liberty Bagels Wall Street
4.5

Open until 06:00 PM

32 Broadway, New York, NY 10004, United States

“Wonderful selection of bagels, very generous serving of cream cheese in the bagels! Spreads are delicious, and they have quite a selection. Price is average and service was fast. Toward the end of the day, they do run out of some bagels so keep that in mind. Plenty of room for sitting down toward the back of the store. Ask the staff for recommendation as they had great advice and combinations. They also have wraps and paninis as well available. Good place to stop by for fast service.”

“I love this place - it has all the qualities of a perfect restaurant without all of the crowds, over-priced food and over-hype. The food is DELICIOUS and well priced. The space is beautiful, especially the backyard, and they have a nice outdoor seating area out front. Beautiful bar area. And we’re always able to get a reservation, even for Mother’s Day, on which I was nervous about finding a table since so many places book out. The staff here is also always friendly and accommodating. This has to be one of the most underrated restaurants on the UES.”

14 Christopher St Lower Level, New York, NY 10014, United States

“Went for dinner on a Tuesday night at 8pm. Every seat at the 10-seat sushi counter was taken. It’s a minimalistic space with four employees- the hostess, the waitress, the sushi chef and his helper. The service was fantastic and we were greeted warmly with big smiles. The chef here is a true professional and it’s a one man show similar to omakase restaurants in Japan. I loved the omakase here because even though it was pricey ($200 for 12 courses), the sushi truly spoke for itself. Unlike other omakase spots in NYC, that puts all sorts of toppings and frills onto each piece (like wagyu on top of toro on top of caviar and gold flakes), each and every piece here spoke for itself. There was no need to add all these bells and whistles. Very fresh, very high quality. The RICE was incredibly seasoned, and just perfect sushi rice, and the size of each piece shows why this place is true “omakase”. Especially how they instruct you to enjoy the sushi. You can tell this is a classic and it was very well worth the visit!!!”

“Beginning with the food, its a great yummy experience, the portions are good. The place is cozy, better to make reservations in advance because it roughly 35 people get inside the restaurant. Two waitresses handle all the place very well and I think it's enough for the size of the restaurant. Nice environment, friendly people, average waiting time for the food and it's not so expensive. The prices are reasonable. Try the Leche de Tigre ceviche, it's the traditional one 👍”

Keur Coumba

“This restaurant used to be wonderful. Today’s delivery was a nightmare and the staff that was answering the phone could not have been more rude. They hung up in the middle of the conversation after 10 seconds and we called back and they hung up again and we called back and they cut us off immediately. The food tasted like it was from two days ago everything was greasy, and the flavor was horrible, I will never order from this restaurant again and others should be very careful. It’s a Sengaliese Restaurant that is now calling yourself Nigerian, the same restaurant.”

“Before coming here, I thought I would have loved the pastries. In all honesty, this spot is just not for me. It’s absolutely beautiful inside with the pastry showroom upstairs and the staff is so kind and knowledgeable. The lysee (white dessert) was grainy and the flavor in my opinion tasted like over toasted rice which isn’t too good of a flavor. And the corn cake was like tasting a pillow of nothing. The flavor was so mild that the experience was truly not memorable :(”
