Aruffo’s make birthday extra celebratory for the birthday guests by serving their dessert with a sparking birthday candle. They recently opened an outdoor patio sitting area where it is decorated with a cozy fireplace, a waterfall fixture and Christmas tree lighting neatly spread throughout the invisible ceiling and directly above the newly added tables and seats. The whole experience in dining in such a warm, cozy and alluring atmosphere is both dreamy and magical. You have got to come here to experience all these in person. I highly recommend Aruffo’s to the locals, visitors and world travelers.”

“Unready place with healthy options. I would say it’s more for the appeal and hype. They do have great unique healthy options however some of the stuff is overpriced. For example the Ophera water is $13.99 there but only $12 at Bristol farms. So basic items are up charged. But I do like the unique options they have that you can’t find other places. The smoothies are also great. The food I didn’t enjoy at all.”

The chef seemed upset as soon as he arrived at the table. He drowned the food in garlic and soy sauce and all of the meat was burned! A complete waste of over $400.00.”

“This place is located in downtown Long Beach. I did not come in for their drink. Their plants caught my eyes. There are a lot of variation of decorative plants, and the designer is very creative. You can add accessories on the plants in order to personalized it. I had fun to just browsing the store. I will come back and try their drink. The lavender matcha caught my eyes.”

“The wife found this place by accident after seeing people line outside this nondescript storefront on her way to the Westwood area. I'm glad she did. They have the best croissants I've had so far in LA. We have tried the plain croissant and the cheese croissant and both has been fantastic. Crispy outside, multilayered, and soft inside. Perfect texture in my opinion. The cheese in the cheese croissant was very good quality too - no weird fat smell. We also got a slice of the banana bread which I thought was very well made as well. Not too sweet, soft inside with plenty of walnuts. Highly recommend this bakery.”

I called in and they recommended I would order ahead since they were "flying out the door" so I ordered online and got there 4h later and they had plenty left. The semla bun and almond paste was good, but unfortunately the whip cream was out of date, as it did not taste or smell right. The staff was nice but got our sandwich orders wrong. We ordered two regular and one panini toasted but we got three regular and none toasted. The soup was delicious, but the staff member could not tell us what kind of soup it was. I am still leaving 4 stars, because I really want to like this place.”

They're delicious, thin and salted right, but it's a full Plate of fries for Each order! Better tell them to go easy fries as needed.) Mussels - fresh, looked like a huge amount, but all gone after eating a few dozen between me and my friend. One of the rare restaurants with fresh mussels done right. Delicious, light. Beef - taste of wine and more, tender, gone in no time. Quiche, ditto. Overall, well-done for the type of French restaurant it is (ie. You are not at a 5-star Michelin masterpiece, but rather a daily eats.) The only sad thing was these three dishes was so much food for two that there wasn't room to stuff in the tiramisu - next time!”
