“My wife and I have been members at Ridge since 1997. It's always been one of my favorite venues and we're what's known as "two club" collectors. We participate in the Advanced Tasting Program to get more accessible wines that don't require multiple decades of storage and we get a case of Monte Bello each year as well. For bigger events, Ridge has moved to an assigned seat, reserved time slot format that, well frankly, sucks. No more bringing the picnic basket and setting up, no more tasting and buying a couple bottles to share. No more trying to get some pours from the "Old Ridge Drinkers" bottles from the 70s and 80s. It's torn the heart and soul out of what made Ridge events special. I think they've realized the error in their ways, to some degree, and events like the tasting on the evening of Jan 18th harken back to what I love about visiting. There was no fixed seating, we were all free to mingle and chat with other patrons to our hearts content! We had a fabulous time Thursday night and really hope they revert back to more like this and less of the events where we just feel like sausage meat being put through the sausage making machine.”

“I think this is literally the best cupcake bakery in South Bay Area. I was skeptical but they 100% changed my perception about Gluten-free pastries. Yes, they have more than just cupcake, their bakery chef is super innovative, and they always have some “surprise” new assortment on selective days, cream puff, all sorts of pies, cookies, cornbread, you name it and it might be your lucky day. But about cupcakes: I kept coming back every week for their cupcakes, I shouldn’t but sorry gym…..their cupcakes are worth it. The sponge is airy and bouncy, not the typical damp texture, huge ⭐️! And their frosting is light as a cloud, creamy with a hint of fruity sweetness, this is what a perfect cupcake should be! (Ok I really don’t like sugar icing kind of cupcake) They have a very cozy & beautiful outdoor seating area, if you want to grab a quick bite, their drinks are also good! Try their London Frog Lavender latte, you won’t regret it😊 Park at one of the downtown parking lot, easy walk to bakery.”

“Stopped by this place when I saw it on Yelp in nearby places: I was really really hungry and all the photos of the menu items looked appetizing. I am really glad I chose this restaurant for lunch! First of all, the prices are very good. Secondly, the meat used is amazing, so tender and tasty (tried chicken and beef & lamb). Thirdly, the quality of the food is high. The atmosphere was nice, very polite staff, and there were plenty of tables. I have already recommended this restaurant to all my friends. The parking situation is a bit tough but that is almost the norm in the Bay. Kudos to the cooks! I will definitely be returning again.”
