“Overall an excellent choice for our 9 day stay. Felt very central and close to everything we wanted to see and do. The complementary breakfast is lovely with a good variety to start your day. They do not offer room service and the mini bar is not restocked daily, so be prepared to grab extra water etc to keep in your room. Housekeeping staff was lovely, front desk staff was fine. Would recommend and stay again.”

“We had an outstanding stay at this wonderful boutique hotel in Florence. Personal service, great location in a beautifully maintained property with all the charm and character of an older Italian building. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, including the beds and linens. The main floor lounge was a lovely option to hang out in. The self-serve coffee and complimentary refreshment area was a welcome delight, including the ability to fill your water bottle with either still or sparkling water. Enjoyed the evening happy hour with the other guests. Nice opportunity to meet others. Lovely breakfast room with a wonderful included breakfast. Highly recommend. We were the only non-Italians in the restaurant and everyone was so kind to us. Gorgeous food and wine that was incredibly affordable. It’s a narrow, winding road up to Traversella but worth the trip.”

“The Donna Camilla Savelli is a mixed bag. The positives- the building itself - It is simply beautiful. The common areas, hallways and garden are so elegant. The serving staff, cleaners, and Ian the bell boy were also lovely. The negatives- For a four star hotel our “Executive” room was somewhat disappointing. The soundproofing was very poor. We were woken between 5-6am every morning by delivery vehicles, laundry collection, glass collection etc. The bathroom was very outdated, no dressing gowns, no coffee machine, and (strangest of all) two paper cups (a china cup and saucer would have been nice). The buffet breakfast was extensive. A large choice of food. Unfortunately the bacon and sausages were very greasy though, and a $5 extra charge for an omelette rather unnecessary in a 4 star establishment. Also milk had to be requested which was also strange. Finally we found the reception staff to be polite, but a little cold and unwelcoming (sorry not being unkind but that was our impression). Overall we loved the hotel building and garden, but feel that the overall experience could have been better, especially given the premium price charged to stay there.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Da Renzo. We stayed for 3 nights and luckily the restaurant was open on the Saturday night which was the icing on the cake. It was one of the best dinners we had in Sardinia. The lobster spaghetti I particularly loved. The pool is great and the tennis court is perfect. We had one of the double rooms and one of the larger rooms - I would definately recommend going for the larger rooms, they’re worth the small extra cost. As for the staff, Ahmed and Davide are such lovely people and it was a joy to have them look after us. Thank you for making our stay so special!”

“We had a family vacation in this hotel. The location of the hotel is really excellent, very close to the center of Rimini and close to the beach (approx. 3 minutes walk). The Metromare station is also nearby. The hotel itself has been renovated, with a very pleasant terrace and small but clean and cozy rooms. The hotel also provides breakfast at an excellent price, and it is really very rich. The whole stay was very pleasant and not only thanks to the location and the nice rooms. From my point of view, people who care about the comfort of clients are also very important. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in any situation. Also thanks to their hospitality, we had 5 star holiday :)”

“We come here every year and enjoy it every time. The past two years they've had some hilarious bi-colored goats that look like they have pants on. But really it's the food we come for. Just delicious, traditional regional fare, nothing special, but always well prepared and good. The chestnuts in honey are always a favorite. I wish the servers still wore trachten, though. It was so charming.”

“We went there only for dinner. They have a very special and VERY BIG fixed dinner menu where you can taste many local specialties and they’re all very delicious. It’s a peaceful place in the greens with a big garden. For only 50€ per person we had all you can drink wine and more food than we could eat. Actually I think they should reduce the size of the portions and/or number of courses because almost everyone had leftovers. They were so generous to give all that as doggie bag but I think customers would be equally satisfied with 10-15% less food. All in all, great experience, highly recommended.”
