“Probably best Hotel in Kruje in terms of best views. We had very friendly service and garage is opposite the hotel for cars to park. Rooms are very spacious and have balcony. Our bathroom had a jacuzzi/shower/whirlpool bathtub. Unfortunately not all functions worked. Breakfast is in the main restaurant and has everything one needs. Once again amazing views are guaranteed. Bazaar and castle 🏰 are 3 min away.”

“Luxury hotel with fantastic views at breakfast and in our room (executive suite). The room has an outside pool/jacuzzi (the pool is cool in summer which is very welcome!) overlooking the ocean - magical!! The rest of the room is high quality, high tech and tastefully chic. We had a mishap at check in about the room we had booked (junior suite has a restricted sea view) and the hotel was fantastic in helping us sort it out. They really went out of their way to deliver excellent service and ensure we had a wonderful time. Thank you.”

“This hotel was the best part of Ksamil! It's a bit of a walk to the beaches but honestly not too far. Pool is lovely. Rooftop bar/breakfast area is beautiful. The owners really do everything, they are motivated to help with whatever. We went to the beach the day we checked out, and they let us leave our car in the parking garage and shower in the hotel afterward, which was super kind of them and much appreciated. This was also one of our favorite breakfasts of our trip.”

“We had a pleasant stay on our quick trip in Tirana. The price of an entire apartment on Airbnb in Tirana is only $20-30 per night, so I was skeptical of paying €80, but the convenience was worth it as I was alone and with a toddler. The walking distance from the hotel to the airport cannot be beat! The breakfast is included and begins at 3AM, which is a huge perk! It even includes made-to-order coffees. The pool and fountain were a plus, as well as the playground. However, the grass in the playground area was overgrown. The hotel accepts debit and credit cards. The prices at the hotel restaurant are too high compared to other Albanian restaurant prices, so, again you are paying solely for convenience if eating there. We were pleasantly surprised our room had a private hallway and balcony. The common areas outside the room also have additional comfortable seating/resting areas. A portable crib was delivered to our room for no additional fee, which was a lovely touch! The bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable. We will be back, thank you for hosting us!”

“We originally booked a different hotel but our travel agency upgraded us to Amr hotel as the original one was still under reconstruction and we could have not been more happier about this switch. Hotel was always clean. There wasn’t a time in a day when the cleaning lady would not be cleaning the floors. Every meal had a huge amount of variables. As a gluten free person I was never hungry by the end of the day. Personnel was always smiling and happy to help. If we had a special request it has been granted almost immediately. And the way how they treated us even at the beach was just amazing. I highly recommend this hotel 🔅✨”

“This place is terrible. The beach is located near the highway, it is narrow and cramped. Umbrellas and sunbeds are very close, there is no personal space. The sunbeds have dirty, unhygienic covers. The strip of sand is narrow and filled with sun loungers. For some reason, the beach is paid, the staff is absolutely not friendly. On the paid beach there are no amenities and a sanitary area; there is a small unsanitary bar. Smoking is allowed on the beach and if you are traveling with children please choose a different location. Your children should not breathe nicotine. There are mountains of garbage in front of the beach, local residents are used to living in garbage, garbage is everywhere, any lawn or side of the road is a mountain of garbage. You will not be able to pay by credit card and please always check your change as you can be scammed even when buying 1 cup of coffee. I don't recommend it! This country is too eager to get tourists' money, but does not want to give anything in return.”

“I love this hotel. I was here with my boyfriend for 7 days, and we had a wonderful time. The first thing that amazed us was the beautiful view of the sea, the sunset, nature... The next thing is the pool, where the water is always just right for swimming. The owner was very polite, we felt very welcome, and you can see that he loves his job and does it with pleasure. The restaurant and the atmosphere in the evening are beautiful. The breakfast was also delicious, the only thing that I would personally like is that there is a slightly larger selection of food that is served for breakfast (for example,we can choose whether we want eggs, sausages or something else...) That is one very small complaint compared to everything wonderful in this hotel. The rooms are well equipped, the air conditioning works great, there is a hair dryer, mosquito net, the bed is comfortable, everything is great. Girls and boys who works there are also very polite, always there to help us if we need something. Basically, I'm very satisfied, it's worth the money and I recommend this hotel, you won't regret it!”

“We stayed here for one night during our trip around Albania. We thought the location was great, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Some staff were friendly, others a bit blunt. Rooms were nice and clean. We had a noisy room next door but once we told reception it stopped, which is good as it means they actually went and told them to keep the noise down! 10 min drive to ‘centre’ or an hour walk. Although plenty nearby. We had a ‘sea view’ but I wouldn’t bother paying extra for this as the view is actually blocked by other buildings - just a tip! Breakfast was ok. Coffee machine didn’t work and they didn’t bother fixing it, and we weren’t going to pay. Again, staff were a bit blunt. Other than that, not too bad! It also has its own underground car park which was handy for us.”

The bathrooms in the hotel are very small and dated, if the bathrooms were improved, the hotel would be a little gem.”

“**A Mixed Experience** I recently stayed at the Hotel Sol Tropical in Durres, and my feelings about the experience are mixed. As a higher status member, I expected some privileges or benefits, but there was a shocking lack of acknowledgment. I did manage to secure a late checkout, which was appreciated, but was unable to get an early check-in. The dining experience was notable, especially the cocktails, which were genuinely excellent. However, I was disappointed by the lack of information regarding the ingredients in the dishes. This is an essential detail for many guests and a surprising oversight for such an establishment. One would assume that a hotel of this caliber would pay attention to the details, especially when it comes to food. Yet, there were no indications or information about the ingredients in any of the dishes, making dining a gamble for those with dietary restrictions or allergies. My beach experience was tainted by the unclean state of the dressing rooms, particularly a distasteful incident involving human excrement. Though I raised this with the staff, the problem remained unresolved during my stay. On a positive note, the rooms at Sol Tropical Durres were both clean and beautifully appointed. Also the beach itself is very beautiful and quite and you have a lot of space. They provided a serene oasis amidst some of the service inconsistencies. All in all, while it was an okay stay, given my experiences, I'm inclined to think I won't be returning to this particular location in the future. There are far better options available at this rate in the area. If you are looking for the world famous Albanian hospitality, you will not find it here.”

“We were there a long time ago but we still remember this wonderful place. Thank you very much Alda and family for the incredible and warm welcome you gave to Andrea and me. As for the room, well, it didn't have the famous mountain view it promised and it was freezing cold. The bathroom is very small. Apart from these things, the room was very nice. The location is amazing, in a beautiful mountain scenery. The best thing is definitely the hospitality of the owners. Alda is very lovely and friendly.
