“Modern hotel with great wellness facilities, very clean, spacious, and just a few minutes walk from the train station. Travelled as a couple and got a double room, which was tidy when we arrived, with fridge, safety deposit box, and wardrobe cabinets and closets. Towels, bathrobes and toiletries were provided. However, for a 4-star hotel, we found it disappointing that there was no free still water, coffee, or tea in the room. There was free mineral water at the lobby but it's an acquired taste. Shower door in the room was also a bit dysfunctional so water leaks out to the shower floor. Room can also become quite warm during summer afternoons and evenings. Wellness centre though was really nice. I tried the Flower Spa Ritual and it was worth it. Swimming pool was also big enough and wasn't crowded. But that may be because we went there on a Monday afternoon. Breakfast had some variety, though leaves you a bit wanting, knowing that the hotel is rated as 4-star. The staff though were really nice, but didn't seem to be too attentive to the flies entering through the open veranda door. We ordered steak dishes for dinner at the restaurant during Sunday night. Although the steaks were not cooked exactly the way we wanted them (medium rare), the steaks were delicious, esp. the one paired with salad and strawberry sauce.”

“We visited Modrava with 90 students from the Netherlands and partly stayed in this hotel. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner arranged by this hotel. You can expect an informal hotel, with very outdated rooms and a big language barrier with the staff if you don’t speak Czech. Think twice about that when you book here. To start positively, the vegetarian dishes were very very good. A big thanks to the chef. Breakfast and lunch were okay. The vegan lunch was not very good, but I can understand that this can be difficult It’s an okay hotel, but the staff doesn’t speak good english, and some don’t speak it at all. Because of the language barrier, sometimes there were difficult situations. They got angry at some point. Their attitude stayed the whole week we slept here and caused a tense atmosphere. Hospitality doesn’t seem to be present here. However I don’t want to give 1 star cause a believe everyone can learn, but this hotel as a big way to go. Some little other remark is that the roomservice did not come every day and that we had to ask for towels ourself sometimes.”

Really friendly, enthusiastic and happy to give any information in great detail in a fun way. The hotel was beautiful inside, classic bohemian design. Everything was spotless, bed were excellent, shower etc were perfect. Despite being just a 3 minute walk from the main square, the hotel was very quiet. I really can't rate this hotel any higher. When I return to Prague, I know exactly where I'll be staying. 11/10.”

The tram to all the attractions of Prague was easy and a short trip. Our room was huge and quiet at night. Breakfast is plentiful with hot and cold dishes. If you walk up the hill from the hotel there is a beautiful park with views over the city and also you will find yourself in a gorgeous historic suburb with plenty of restaurants, bars and boutiques, away from the tourists.”
