“I have stayed in more hotels than most people, in locations around the world, and this one is my favorite. While my room wasn't huge, it had plenty of space for me and was perfectly designed. The integration of technology for comfort was flawless, with features like a nightlight button by the bed that would provide just enough illumination for a 3am restroom visit without waking me up. This is the first time I have ever seen an automatic toilet lid, and I was captivated. The shower, tub, cabinet design, and everything else about the room layout was delightful. In particular, my eighth floor room had a beautiful view that I could take advantage of with the bench seat built into the window. Also, the bed was the perfect amount of soft and cozy with nice pillows. I can also say wonderful things about the team working there. They were friendly, helpful, and patient with my lack of Japanese. I arrived before check-in time and they offered me a reasonably priced upgrade to a room that was already ready if I wanted to get settled immediately. Instead, they graciously put my luggage in my room for me when it was ready so that I could head to the Peace the museum until my reserved room was available. A delightful stay. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer.”

“One of the better hotels I stayed in during my recent trip around Japan. Rooms are well lit and modern and space though small is well used. Check in and checkout was smooth and the staff were friendly and spoke decent English. The hotel does have a public bath house but unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to use it. Located about 5 mins walk from Hiroshima station and right across a couple of convenience stores which can come in super handy. A coffee shop/ restaurant is attached right to the hotel and the included breakfast was pretty basic but tasted good. Good experience overall will stay again if in the Hiroshima area.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here, it is extremely convenient if you are thinking about doing the Shimanami Kaido bike path when starting in the Onomichi side. The facilities were clean and spacious for the price. The WiFi was very good (which is a relief because it has been spotty in other locations). As a bonus there is plenty of well thought out charging ports and cords provided for you.”

“Beautiful island views, clear water & wide expanse of white sand beach. Newly remodeled hotel with meals, hot-spring & Seaview rooms. Unfortunately a lot of plastic trash on beach (mostly plastic tubes & spacers of nearby floating oyster farms). A problem for all beaches along this Seto-inland sea coast, but nice to see staff cleaning up here during summer mornings making it more pleasant for beachgoers and hotel guests. Since changed to UMINOS addition of stylish lounging chairs, open air bar on first floor and BBQ facilities are part of new remodel in addition to hot-bath and rooms upgrades. This makes it a much more stylish and welcoming facility. Nice small shrine on beach. Showers & kayak, sup rentals only seem open in high-season (school summer break time end of July to August). Location of Sea to Summit race help at end of June (Montbell). Popular family picnic spot, kayak & sup spot & fishing. Some vandalism & litering around shrine & pier is a shame to see, but facilities are well-maintained during busy season.”

“The buffet breakfast offering a lot local food which I found delicious. The selling point of this hotel mainly is the quality of its water. The hotel reception was great and she guided us all the way to our room. The hotel also gave us a free drink coupon when we check in.”

“Stayed one night, very creative and peaceful atmosphere, much appreciated to Mumbai Studio. Although alcohol drinks they serve are bit overpriced on the dinner and bar, the food is natural, fresh and used local ingredients only. If you are ambient music lover you will love the the surrounding sound from your room where has absolutely no TVs, be able to immerse yourself in local culture or meditation. Apparently they have interacted with Meitei (Hiroshima-based Ambient music composer), LOG can be also a pilgrimage to his fans.”

“This is a Chinese restaurant located in a residential area. It looks like it has been in business for a long time, and the facilities and furniture are old. It seems like it has been carefully cleaned, and the tables and floors are not sticky from oil. Today, I simply ordered Mapodon (800 yen including tax). After ordering, the food was delivered within 5 minutes. Other customers also had their food served within 5 minutes of ordering. Mapo bowl is a set with Chinese soup and costs 800 yen including tax. The large size was 100 yen plus. It is topped with a generous amount of bean paste and is seasoned with spices such as chili pepper and Japanese pepper. It's not super spicy, but as you eat it you'll start sweating. The flavor is just right, and even a normal amount will be enough to satisfy your stomach. I'm interested in the katsudon and curry bowl that were on the menu, so I'd like to try them next time. I entered the store just after 11 o'clock on a Sunday, and the customers were coming in one after another, so I think this store is loved by many people. For electronic money payments, it seems that you can use D payment, aupay, paypay, and LINEpay.”

“Staying here was a highlight of our visit to Hiroshima and one of our favorite places that we stayed in Japan! The location can’t be beat, literally across the street from the A-bomb dome and a 2 minute walk from the museum and Peace Park. Also very close to different eateries and shops to check out. Great onsen with nice views. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and had beautiful views. The breakfast was amazing, probably 8-10 different traditional dishes to try and all delicious—I don’t usually recommend hotel breakfasts, but this one can’t be missed. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Wonderful, traditional Japanese hotel. Wouldn’t recommend staying anywhere else!”
