“Stayed in August 2021. The room we were in had an authentic, traditional feeling to it. Only let down would be the shower screen needs replacing but not a major issue. Breakfast is worth buying. Lots of cheeses, salads; fruits etc. Restaurant food very nice with some great regional dishes, I do recommend the beef cheeks. Also try the cherry flavoured beer. Manageress very nice and pleasant to talk to along with all the team. Definitely do recommend. Thanks for a great stay!”

A very large common area with a well-stocked kitchen and a play corner for children, although it was probably fully occupied, you couldn't feel it in such a large space. The owner is very helpful, always available on site or by phone. There is a large place for barbecuing and making a bonfire - the only small fee is firewood. There is a small shop and a playground nearby. The downside is the lack of space in the rooms to store your belongings. There was no wardrobe or hooks on the walls in the double room.”
