“Heated main pool is awesome and not overly chlorinated. Location is excellent. The free morning muffins and tea/coffee was an innovative touch and afternoon live acoustic musician during happy hour similarly pleasant. Staffing at the bar however and in general are less than happy, welcoming and engaging - shame. For the price point, I think all rooms should have a coffee machine. And happy hour should include wine, not just beer and cocktails. Otherwise, recommended for a family stay and would stay again.”

“Hadn't visited for over 15 years ,but it was wonderful. On a really hot day , it was inviting and staff friendly. Cool drink to enjoy outside, very tasty lunch and well priced , I had a Pork belly salad $22.00 , lots of pork and very tasty salad with just the right amount of zing, we also had the special Mexican stuffed potato $18.00 , great size meal , tasty and with all the right sides. Lovely old pub with lots of history. We will be back sooner this time. Easy to find.”

“Visited here for a Saturday dinner. Extremely friendly and efficient service. We were seated quickly (no reservations under 4 people). Food and drink choices were very good. I enjoyed an excellent pizza which I was able to design myself. The quality and abundance of toppings, made this one of the best pizzas I have ever had. My daughter enjoyed a refreshing cocktail with her meal. Our waitress Sophie was so friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome and well cared for, despite the busy night. No one seemed flustered and there was obviously enough staff to meet the needs which made the experience so good. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit here again on my next holiday to Peregian.”

“My family and I had dinner here on Friday night and were super impressed with the service and food. My 4 year old was given a colouring in pack which he loved and the kids meal was a big hit. All of the staff were lovely and the lamb cutlets and steak that we ordered were delicious. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to go with family and young kids.”

“Vacy Hall is a gorgeous heritage building with on-site parking, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. We had the king suite which was spacious, comfortable and heated through a central heating system. There is also the choice of a fireplace for an additional $25 each time you light it. The room was styled according to the era of the building with modern features including tea and coffee making facilities and a TV allowing a choice of Netflix movie for those days where you may just prefer to spend a couple of hours in the room. The host, Graham, was most hospitable and shared his knowledge of the local area to recommend places to visit for a meal. We decided to order from the inhouse breakfast menu and the meal did not disappoint! The food was delicious and of a generous serve. Vacy Hall is quiet and in a good location with restaurants within walking distance.”

“Normally I'm not one to leave a bad review but here it goes. The staff at the time have been helpful however after further discussions with them this had turned sour quite fast. It was asked to staff if where my car was parked if it was fine. The staff informed me that it was fine where it was. Nothing was offered more about the subject. However the next morning when I went to retrieve my car. It was missing. It was towed away. So the staff have incorrectly informed me. I have had many conversations with the reception manager about how this was a fault of their staff by giving me the instructions that my car was perfectly fine where it was. I'm now out of pocket an excess of $350 due to a fault which could have been prevented if their staff had offered for the paid parking which I had no knowledge about. The staff are quite rude about this situation and have been no assistance but only on the grounds that now I'm the liar. I know what I was told by the staff at the time otherwise if I was instructed that if was not the correct parking I would have moved my car and not be out of pocket. I told the reception manager that I would be leaving this Review and to which she replied whatever. I've never been disappointed in my life by this place. Would not recommend at all to anyone unless you plan on paying an excessive towing bill.”

“We spent a few days in the blissful setting of one of the Creek Lodges. Lovely rainforest look out with a rocky creek bubbling past. The cabins are decorated beautifully in harmony with the setting and very comfy. We dined each night in the restaurant the meals were excellent. “My partner and I had to stay overnight at Hotel X after a flight cancellation. The staff received a bus load of people at around 9.30pm and got everyone promptly off to their rooms. They were very helpful and organised. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable and quite stylish, although the art in room 109 was a little creepy because you felt like the faces in the artwork were watching you sleep. Overall my partner and I had a wonderful experience here and would definitely return.”
