The room was a little small, but the bed was very comfortable and everything was there. The meticulousness of preparing champagne and cake to celebrate my birthday was outstanding. “Had better accomodations in Jalalabad from the Obama administration. Avoid at all costs. This resort has a huge problem with sewage vapor leak. Vapors, gasses and odors from the sewage, spill into the room and hallways from the sink and showers. The original plumber did not use P traps or S bends in the plumbing, therefore vapors from the sewage just fills the entire room. I've attempted to combat this by filling the sink with water and plugging it, making artificial trap. But this is not possible with the shower. I'm here for a company event for the entire week. Asked for a new room assignment twice a day, once in the morning and once at lunch but the resort double books companies...my only option is to sleep in a golf cart outside or next to the receptionist area. The sewage vapor has given me and my colleagues a sore throat, irritated skin, irritated eyes and nostrils. A few of us are headed to the doctor tomorrow for treatment. Avoid at all costs. Wi-Fi is pretty good.”

“Me and my family stayed there for 5 nights this week. We had a suite on the second floor in the main building. The room in itself is spacious and conform to pictures. What was really a let down for me was the bed which was mentioned on the website as being king size ( fair enough it is large) but it is in fact 2 singles bed put together which mean you end up sleeping really one on each single bed. Not the greatest experience for a couple. Also since the day we arrived we noticed a smoke smell in the second floor stairways and corridor, very annoying for non smoker who are there with a baby. The staff tried to cover it with cleaning product but with not much luck. When I queried about it on the last day, I was told that some clients were smoking in their rooms despite being told to stop. I find this very unfortunate that we would need to endure this for 5 days because they could not handle this client. The shower bottom sealing strip was not there when we arrived nor was it replaced giving the shower the impression of being always dirty. Breakfast and the restaurant were good and we enjoyed the pool and made the most of our time there despite this, I just do not think it was worth it quality/price wise we won't be back.”

“The hotel is neat and clean. The coffee is great. The owner does his best to speak some words in your own language, which is definitely nice. There is free WiFi and the breakfast is good. My single room was not big but everything was there. There are plenty of free parking spaces. A train station is close by, as is the railway. That is a disadvantage, although it does not bother you much. The pool looks great. The beach is at your doorstep. There is also a busy road next to the hotel. With the sliding doors closed you will not hear anything, the rooms are well insulated. I came here in the spring and came for the Formula 1 Grand Prix but I think you can have a nice summer holiday here”

Breakfast was served as an additional add on you could pay for and was quite easily the best I've had in Europe this year. It worked out well because in our party of 3, only I wanted breakfast. The staff were all friendly and super helpful. Next time I visit Barcelona, I will definitely stay here again”
