“We had a wonderful stay at Da Renzo. We stayed for 3 nights and luckily the restaurant was open on the Saturday night which was the icing on the cake. It was one of the best dinners we had in Sardinia. The lobster spaghetti I particularly loved. The pool is great and the tennis court is perfect. We had one of the double rooms and one of the larger rooms - I would definately recommend going for the larger rooms, they’re worth the small extra cost. As for the staff, Ahmed and Davide are such lovely people and it was a joy to have them look after us. Thank you for making our stay so special!”

“If you want a unique and indulgent experience I highly recommend this place, it is really special. The staff were amazing. Attentive, welcoming, some of thr best customer service I have had and I travel constantly. The rooms are a bit sparse, I would suggest they have some colour amd few more softer furnishings but that's just splitting hairs. The restaurant serves lovely local food. The wine list is local and interesting in a good way. Breakfast is excellent. There is a lot of lovely outdoor space the beaches nearby are gorgeous 😍 Loved this hotel, its a special place in the world.”

The view!!!, the cosy and clean accommodation, the well-kept surroundings that were in harmony with nature. I loved our little house with the veranda the most, it had such flair and style. “Beautiful hotel with great view over the lake. Friendly staff. Restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price. Heated pool is perfect to have a relaxing time. Room (first floor with lake-view) was large but bathroom (too) small. Bed was good and comfortable. Small improvement suggestions: support with heavy luggage especially to the first floor (stairs only), provide a detailed printed invoice when checking out (instead of a small summary) and finally, the hot tub / whirlpool on the roof are available for 40 euro's per couple per hour, that price is too high for most people and given the room price could be a bit more customer friendly.”

A truly LUXURY b&b, fantastic, very warm, tastefully furnished and which gave us from the first moment we entered the first room with the fireplace in the center all that warmth and that scent of wood and that air of tranquility and serenity that we had need! The suite is spotless and equipped with everything we needed, including a coffee machine and pods. The spa, for our exclusive use, is TOP! We also had dinner and were quite satisfied! “It’s a very nice hotel a little bit outside of the city. We were lucky to have e great receptionist called Martina. She helped us with where to go to the bus stops and how to pay the buses. She gave us very good service and answered every question we needed an answer to. In the end she helped us with transfer from Cagliari. When the transfer was late she called the transfer for us and called me to help - even after we had checked out of the hotel and she was about to leave her shift. Ask for Martina if you’re visiting this hotel!”

They were very helpful and suggested the beaches that would be perfect for that day. The location offers free parking very close to the accomodations. The hotel is basically in the city centre so everything is walking distance. All in all a wonderful experience.”

“Fantastic hotel with wonderful staff (special mention to the cleaners and breakfast crew). Breakfast is really tasty, fresh and offers a wide range of local products. The rooms are spacious, clean, have a great adjustable AC. The rooms that do not offer direct sea view still offer a great view of the private pool and the mountains (and the sea sometimes too!). The pool is quite big and despite perfectly catching the sun, also has nice shaded spots under the lemon trees and rose bushes. There are plenty of sun chairs and umbrellas. There is also a smaller pool for toddlers or just to sit and read with your legs in the water. The location is wonderful, a minute from the beach but not on the seafront, avoiding loud noises. Only 15 min walk from Mari Posa beach with dreamy sand dunes and pines and 20min walk to Alghero old town. There are countless bars, cafes, restaurants along the sea front and a great cycling lane. The hotel offers a reasonably priced rental of bikes with insurance. Bikes are great quality and are all terrain which is perfect if you plan to explore the many archaeological sites and natural reserves of the area. Finally, the hotel is located near the major public bus routes to go from and to the airport in less than 30min and for less than 2euro. Overall great value and quality, could not recommend more.”

“Seafront hotel, we didn't stay overnight, but we had the continental buffet breakfast at a cost of €12 per person. Excellent and plentiful, sweet and savory, with also seasonal and local fruit. Special requests are charged separately (see dedicated menu). There are outdoor and indoor tables. Excellent and simple management of anticovid measures: disinfectant gel for hands and gloves. The hotel Cala Luna supports the Cala Gonone aquarium, it is also possible to book the aquarium room. We visited also the rooftop sky bar - the real highlight of the hotel - for a couple of drinks: the view is lovely and romantic. You are greeted with a smile and the overall service is great. The cocktail menu is full of proposals, including non-alcoholic ones, a free buffet is included.”

“A stunning place, food is tasty. However, the Christmas lunch has been a disaster because the place was full of flies. I find flies disgusting. I believe that the management should keep in mind this problem. If you don't have enough space indoors, you shouldn't take any extra booking. Otherwise, you must solve the flies issues, as it's very unhealthy to eat what fies may have touched. Such a shame, the location is beautiful, and Attila, the dog, is to die for!”
