“I always enjoy staying at the Indian Ocean hotel. I think the rooms are starting to look a little tired but it’s still great value. I booked direct and received two drinks vouchers which was great, however, I tried to redeem them in the evening but the connecting door from the accommodation to the bar was closed. I was told I would need to use the front entrance. I thought, no problem but when I got outside, there was a line of 20 people. I didn’t go in. Somewhat disappointing”

“I only had the opportunity to stay for one evening. The location is idealic and the accommodation is perfect for families and groups. The accommodation has everything you need for a holiday. A games room, canoes, fully appointed kitchen. The Dunsborough shops are a short stroll or a very quick drive. The view at the accommodation is beautiful and you can feel the stress leaving your body as you look out over the ocean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a family emergency and they were very supportive. Thank you so much.”

“The place was a perfect place to stay with beautiful surroundings, an easy walk to town, and 15 minute drive to the beach. Beautiful outdoor areas to relax, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchens and was close to bush walking trails. We were there over a couple of unusual very hot days and some of the bedrooms were a tad warm during this time, but besides that was amazing and highly recommend.”

“Stayed here for one night at a powered site. The trees are very calming, kitchen set up is very nice, roads in the park are very well done. Toilets and showers were clean and nice. Staff was friendly and welcoming! Beach is a 10 minute walk from the park with a bike path all the way there ☺️ Definitely recommend!”

When I complained hotel manager swivelled round in his chair and said “ we can’t help you we are fully booked “ Very unprofessional!! Dear Seashells as a response to your reply, I am happy to forward email stating I had booked an apartment not a room, if I could have posted the confirmation booking email I certainly would have!! And if you have issues with 3rd party booking services then maybe don’t advertise with them”

Reception always kind and available. Kitchenette... Not satisfied at all. It only has microwaves, toasters and air friers. We stayed two weeks but we struggled a lot to eat healthy food, because of the few possibilities of cooking. The prize is a little bit high, compared to the offered services. I would recommend this hostel for a short stay.”

“My daughter and I came to Geraldton for a wedding last weekend. We stayed here at the motor inn. The rooms are spacious with a double bed and a single, a couch, coffee table and TV. There's a microwave and a small bar fridge in the room. The rooms also have their own walk-in wardrobe and ensuite. The Room was nice and tidy and the beds were clean and well made. The only let down was the bathroom. The mirror was dirty and had not been cleaned and there was mold in the shower. As someone who runs a cleaning business, this wouldn't have been unacceptable in an accommodation business, however this was only a minor issue. We were in a room on the road side however there wasn't much traffic noise to be heard. The rooms were nice and quiet and air conditioned. The motel is within minutes from the Town Centre and the beach, which is very convenient and was also very well located for us as we were in between traveling to and from other families homes and hotels and other locations. A buffet breakfast is also included within the room price, which is fantastic and convenient. Buffet breakfast is held in the restaurant up the back of the motel. The food is pretty good too with a large variety to choose from, from your usual bacon and eggs and mushrooms, through to fruits, yogurts, muffins, croissants and salads and drinks such as orange juice, milk and apple juice, coffee/tea. Also cereals for the kids, they cover everything for everyone. Overall we had a great stay and I would highly recommend this motel as a budget affordable accommodation with convenience buffet breakfast and close location to the town Center and other amenities.”
