“Had a pleasant stay. A few days prior, they emailed a pre-arrival preferences form (I think this is the first time I got something like that) in which I indicated we were celebrating a special occasion. We found a small, thoughtful gift waiting for us at our room. They also gave us a room with balcony as I requested in the form, but we weren‘t able to go out. The door seemed locked but anyway, there wasn‘t much out there (no seat or table) and we didn‘t try to ask if you could actually go out. Our daughter enjoyed the playroom. She wanted to take a dip in the pool but it was cold and we didn‘t pack a swimsuit.”

Pillows not comfortable and felt springs in the bed. Overall, I would say this is a good, safe hotel for a short-term stay. Not comfortable for a long-term stay if you enjoy additional amenities. However some items like the wifi and the outlets were really good compared to other nicer hotels.”

“In retrospect, I got to stay here for a week during a series of seminars and conferences. The hall assigned to us was modest, but adequate. However, the WIFI connectivity was unsatisfactory, even in the individual rooms. Unfortunately, the rooms were not quiet either, as conversations from the hallway were easily heard. On a positive note, the restrooms were in good condition. One standout feature was the proximity to a church, which was especially convenient as our event coincided with Ash Wednesday.”

“I highly recommended Luljetta's Garden Suite. My mom celebrated her 72nd birthday here. We just throw her a surprise birthday getaway here. It exceeded her expectations. My family especially my children loved our suite. The staffs are very accomodating and very friendly in welcoming us. All the staffs were very friendly and attentive to all our needs. The room was very spacious and with complete amenities which provides a very inviting vibes.”

“I'm rating this as a third time booking customer. I had no problems on my first stay (aside from their signature scent which I don't agree with) but on my next two stays, that's when I encountered problems. I noticed molds in the bathroom and stains on the tiles and ceiling. On my second stay, there were no towels & TV reception (watching TV helps me relax) so I called housekeeping, but couldn't get through. I called reception and asked for towels. Called back after 2 hours to follow up but no one answered until the next day. Had to buy a towel at a nearby shop. My third stay was the worst. No towels, no hairdryer, no bath mat (need one because of the mold & stains) and the most ugly part of it all was there were cockroaches. I wasn't able to take more pictures since I don't bring my mobile in the bathroom. I keep staying at this hotel because of the great location. It's beside the mall and so near great bargain shopping areas. Some budget shops and food stalls around the vicinity open as early as 7AM and it's soooo convenient. I really do wish they improve the place.”

My wife's pasta was edible, but not very good. She tried to order a glass of wine, to be told they didn't have any. When I complained to the waitress, she said there was nothing she could do. We've been food poisoning not just us students but also the other guests. And they didn't even give us the designated room because of overbooking. Our check in is at 5pm but we got our room around 7pm and it was not the room that we expected they just put like a hospital bed so that we could fit. Even the staff don't take our concerns seriously.”

“I had a great time playing at The Charter House's Ivory Function Hall for a birthday celebration. The Charter House is a hotel located in the heart of Makati, near the Greenbelt and Glorietta malls . As a wedding supplier (band), I appreciated their topnotch service. Even their security staff were courteous and helpful during our ingress. They provided trolleys for us to carry our sound system easily. Unlike some other venues where the security guards treat wedding suppliers like dirt. Their snacks for us were decent. They served us clubhouse sandwiches and French fries with softdrinks in can. The Ivory Function Hall was spacious enough for 50 guests yesterday. It can actually accommodate more people. The aircon was good. We brought our own sound system but their in-house sound system was also impressive. They had 4 FOH Kevler speakers, two of which had subwoofers. They also had 4 wireless mics and a dedicated audio tech who handled the audio mixer. Our dinner was also delicious. I liked their buttered chicken, pancit bihon and sweet and sour fish fillet. I would recommend The Charter House to anyone looking for a venue for their events. They have great facilities, friendly staff and good food.”
