“What can I say that hasn’t already been said about this hotel. Me, my husband and our three kids were just there for 3 nights. We have stayed at a few 4,5 star family hotels in the Austria region already but this hotel was by far the best. The room, the food, the service, the kids fun/aqua park and also the area for hiking. Everything was awesome. We are hoping to make it back there during ski season. Not usually one to write reviews but for this hotel I couldn’t not write one. Before we stay at hotels we always check the reviews and try to filter through the legit ones to get a good idea of the place. This hotel gets 5/5 and is worth the money. If you have the opportunity to go there- it will not disappoint!”

“I've had two spectacular meals here so far. I'd have even more, but they close one day a week, and I felt I should give other places a try, too. The welcome and service are warm, the beer is fresh and tasty, and the food exceptional. My first dinner featured the special of the day, a tasty mushroom cream soup with bits of bacon followed by a gargantuan, wonderfully crispy goose thigh. The second was even better, an amazing, rich and tasty "grey cheese' soup and then their wonderful version of Zwiebelrostbraten (tender beef topped with crispy onion, and accompanied by handmade noodles). Can't wait to see what other delights the menu offers. Highly recommended!”

Location is away from city center so it's decently quiet, with at least 2 nights stay you are given a bus pass which makes getting around the city very easy and convenient. “My husband I stayed for a weekend at the Auracher Lochl. I don't believe it's a true 4 star hotel to be frank. From service to amenities, it just doesn't fit. Location received 4 stars because there are only about 5 streets in "downtown" Kufstein so it's not hard to succeed there. The communication was good beforehand with various details from Alexander and Sandra but once we were at the hotel, the "4 start service" was non existant really. At check in, it was not shared with us that you get the Kuftseinercard which provides some nice discounts during your stay. Why do you not share this with your guests? Secondly, the sauna. Why do you not share information about the sauna upon check in either? We only found out about it when we headed to the rooftop bar and saw the note in the elevator. 2 things that would have made our stay better if the service at check-in was more than "this is the remote for the light" and "breakfast is from 7 to 11". Breakfast was good thankfully. Ali was a kind gentleman who worked both mornings we were there and took great care for us getting what we needed and checking with us throughout breakfast. That was the best service at the hotel by far. There was a shorter blonde woman who was quite rude and no regard to guests at all. The rooms themselves are quaint let's say. In the "Vienna" room there was no door to close off the shower + bath and sink area. Additionally, no lotion and conditioner to your guests. Even an ibis budget has that! Some slippers or robes in the room would be nice. Honestly, not sure I'd stay here again but it was fine for a 3d/2n visit to Kufstein.”

“If your looking for an amazing hotel near Kössen, Austria. Look no further! Upon my arrival I was made feel very Welcome. The Lady at the front desk gave me all the deals about the hotel. Also organized me with a card to utilize with the buses. The card is in conjunction with the local tourist office. Great incentive to get people to visit the region and obviously for local businesses. My room was very clean and had a great view. I was really impressed with the swimming pool. Turns out the swimming pool is brand new! Updated last year. The Sauna and steam Room are amazing! Great area set up to relax after a long day out. The breakfast is great! Lots of different breads, cereals and various cheeses. Great coffee, orange juice and water. I highly recommend visiting the restaurant during the afternoon and for dinner. Great choices on the menu. I also recommend sitting outside in the afternoon for drinks. Hotel Riedl definitely rates five stars and more! I definitely will return to this amazing hotel in the near future. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, Lived in the United States for over Thirty Years and served all over the world with the US Marines all over the world. I definitely know a Great Hotel from all my life experiences and travels all over the world. The owners and all the Staff are all very professional and friendly. “We are coming here since almost 20 year for a lot of good reasons. The service and the location are fantastic and the best place for people looking for a winter experience away from the crazy big ski resorts. You can do ski tours, hiking, climbing, and you find very well prepared cross-country ski and sleds slopes. If you want to do alpine skiing, it is not fare away and a ski bus is taking you there. The food is fantastic and you can relax in a new built , small but very nice sauna area.”

From the attentiveness of the staff to the facilities, including indoor and out door pool, a perfect wellness area and saunas. Our room was spacious and provided a relaxing place to relax. The opulent and wooden clad bar was just a pleasure to be in! And then on top of all this experience, was the food. We booked half pension.
