“Three stars are considered generous. Rent a full villa for the family, but found out the villa was old and kind of creepy. First impressions was bad, tried to flush the toilet and turned on the water tap, some unpleasant smells came out from the water. Towels and sanitary pads are old and need to be replaced. The staffs and employees are not so friendly and they were rarely smile to any guest, especially the staffs in the restaurant. Morning breakfast was below standard, the taste of fried rice was plain, the breads was not too soft, and the only thing normal was the milk and cereals. In addition, the street vendors could walk straight into your room’s / villa’s door and offers you many kinds of food, but their selling techniques with insisting tone was really annoyed me. One street vendor offered me Friend Banana right in front of my Villa’s door by saying “Come on, share your fortune/money with me, it’s only 10k”. 😟 The only thing that save this hotel was just the amazing view we had, that’s where the three stars came from if you wonder.”

“The location is beautiful! Very close to Borobudur and dining, but also far enough that it's quiet and peaceful. The service from the staff is the best I've ever had anywhere. They have bicycles you can borrow for free and have an adventure any time. Only had small issues with the WiFi in our room, and wish we had a few more lights as well. “Location on the map is wrong. It is 1km further south right next to a gas station. Being the only hotel in town, it is quite expensive for a basic standard room that comes with air condition and bucket shower. The wifi connection is very good though.”

“We had dinner here to try the locals' fave food and it was not bad. This place was recommended by the locals saying this is either owned by the President Jokowi or this is his fave restaurant when he is around. I don't remember exactly, but the food is good indeed. Solo food portion is small and on the sweeter or spicier side. What I like about it is that it give you opportunity to try something else since the portion is not for NBA players. We got to try the super duper sweet dessert afterwards. The service is nice as the people here are soft-spoken and well mannered, the best part of this area. The best part of Indonesians and it should be like this everywhere. We had a nice dinner with the locals and visitors and that is the best part of any trip.”

“Wisma Sejahtera is function hall in Magelang area. It's located inside a small alley. Make sure you check your GPS before turning as it might lead to very small road. :) Anyway, the building is new & clean. Parking is enough for less than 100 cars inside the compound. The hall might be 40x20m with clean toilet on the right side (outside the main building) and special section for catering service.”

“I stayed here with my family because during the holiday season all hotel was quite full. The price is cheap compared to downtown hotels. The gate was closed so it's quite secured but for a new guest might be wondering whether it's open because nobody guarding at the gate. Under the bed was quite dirty, obviously seldom cleaned. My kid found a maggot somewhere and I found a cigarette butt on the corner. During check out, a room is being cleaned however we only see the floor cleaning tools. I just hope that they change the bed sheets and pillow sheets everytime especially during this covid pandemic.”
