Well done. We changed the room as initially the first room was a little dusty on floor 1, as soon as we mentioned they accommodated us on floor 2 straight away. Simply for this reason I have to say it was great customer service with immediate response with a smile. “We booked months in advance, however 2 days before we flew out we got asked if we was going to the festival which was just down the road from the place, we told them yes and they then said we would need to pay a £100 deposit per person when we got there. I think £100 per person is a lot of money. Also there's nothing about a deposit on their website which I could find. Also what if we were already staying in Amsterdam prior to coming there and we had no cash card or only enough cash to get us by for the weekend? Luckily enough, my sister in law offered to pay for us but I think if a deposit is required this should be mentioned when booking to prevent it being extra money you have to pay when you get there. Sorry to rant, the staff & accommodation were really nice but a clear notification of the deposit situation would be ideal for all future guests.”
