“I can only speak to the quality of the service and food as I have never stayed in the hotel. Previously (I believe under a different manager) if you attended the Sunday Carvery there was free children's entertainment provided - this is no longer the case. The food is still of a good quality but the addition of the children's entertainment was a significant draw as well. The bar food offering is excellent as well (including the constant top class service of F). There are a lot of young staff, great to see people getting a start/chance but I feel a little time could be invested in the training of these new starts - it would be to the benefit of the hotel and the wider industry. All in all a decent hotel.”

“Had lunch here yesterday wonderful location on the north antrim coast at Ballygalley. The atmosphere in the lounge is great with an open log fire. The staff are excellent very efficient and attentive to your needs. Menu great with plenty of choice. Also daily specials one course £11 50 two £15 food was served quickly and was excellent. Had a great pint of Guinness . I will definitely will visit again”

“We are having an absolutely excellent stay. We had a massage at the spa which was incredible. We paid extra for the jacuzzi which was lovely and relaxing 😎 The food was absolutely delicious, including afternoon tea and dinner. The staff have all been so friendly, accommodating and helpful, including recommending places to see and things to do in Legenderry. The room is absolutely stunning and it is in a perfect location. I was really pleased with the price for everything especially considering it is a 4 star hotel. My only complaint would be the lockers, they definitely need more keys as my partner and I had to share a locker which meant running in between changing rooms. Both female toilets were also blocked and the floor in the changing rooms could be replaced. All in all, we are having a fabulous time and we have been treated like royalty!”

“Have been staying and dining in the restaurant for years and is normally brilliant tho the past few visits we have noticed that the service has slowed down quite a bit in the restaurant department the food quality is still brilliant tho the waiting times between your courses is quite long. On new years eve it was a shambles service was that much of a desaster you didn't even get to finish your meal until the staff were clearing the floor for the entertainment. As a result of this we felt very uncomfortable and pushed out there for we left before our meal was even finished and still asked to pay full price after we voiced how we were made feel we understand its busy but the experience was not what we are used too”

“What a lovely hotel. A small hotel set in the centre of Portrush but very understated. The staff on my arrival and throughout our stay were friendly and efficient. The room was a good size and exceptionally clean. Well presented and laid out. Breakfast was of a high quality and catered for most tastes. Attention to detail is important and not lacking in this hotel with a weather forecast posted in the lift for four days ahead and even hotel umbrellas inside the main entrance to be borrowed by residents if needed. Granted some may find the decor and furnishings a little dated, but we liked it and definatly want to stay again. Good staff reflect the quality of your stay , and from receptionist, to bar staff, waitresses, night porter, and domestics our stay was made to feel special. Hopefully in the future to planned renovation will not dilute the charm of this lovely hotel.”

The staff are so welcoming and would go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The whirlpool was absolutely amazing with little lights that lit up the forest. The projector was great for watching movies and the bed was super comfy. Felt completely at home with peacocks as neighbours. Will definitely be back!”

“If I could give more than five stars I would. This hotel was amazing! The staff- Nicola, Sarah, and Thomas were wonderful! They were so attentive, friendly, and kind. From the moment we stepped into the place we felt so welcome, almost like being with family. Our room was perfect- quaint and cozy with a beautiful view of the Mourn Mountains. The location was fabulous- close walk to anything in town and right across from the sea. We had breakfast once and lunch once during our stay- both were very good. Great service and delicious food. “The rooms were very clean, the bed was spacious however the mattress was very soft with no support at all. The let down were the old windows which let in all the noise. We were in July, I cannot imagine how much cold they probably let in during winter. Furthermore more perhaps need better black out curtains because the sun shone through the sides and was hard to sleep in. The breakfast was quite a let down, uts a good first breakfast with toast, jams, and cereal. However no hot breakfast and no groceries to make some.”
