Cannot recommend the staff extremely enough - often approachable and helpful. If you'd like delightful food that wont break the bank, this place is great for a special supper without the big bill by the end. We ordered lunch here as a special treat and had been delighted how fairly quickly it came.”

“Really nice place near the lake. Very crowded in July, beach and camping. Camping lots are rather small. Clean facilities, quiet at night. Friendly staff, good food at the restaurant- but not that friendly waiters. Sunset is at 8.45pm but kitchen closes at 9pm… so no dessert after 9 😕 …”

The room was clean, comfortable and well sized, the service was good, and the breakfast was BOMB! Location is also good although Velden is quite small so it’s hard to have a bad location per se. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Velden.”

“I stayed here with my son and about 60+ other people cause my son was playing in the United World Games for USA basketball and the staff here was absolutely amazing and made us feel like home, anything we needed they got us, plus their breakfast was amazing, the rooms were huge with a balcony that gave you a beautiful view of the lake. If I ever get the opportunity to go to Austria again I will 100% be staying at this hotel. Thank ya'll again for making our stay absolutely amazing.”

“I was very positively surprised by my experience, so much so, that I will be coming back in future. The rooms were well designed and clean, the staff was very friendly and the service was great. The breakfast was also really good! I also liked the small waterpark outside for the kiddies! Great idea and awesome concept! The only thing which I could complain about is the price of Redbull drinks. They are unnecessarily high but that's the only thing that I can complain about. Therefore we shall be seeing each other more often!”

“This hotel is great for convenience. It is across the street from the Villach main station. Why 3 stars, the shower head was moldy and there was dust build up in the vent. When I told the front desk, she was very rude and said , ok they'll take care of it, no apology for my exposure to mold or poor air quality. If anything, she seemed irritated, I even showed her photos. Very disappointing. I only stayed 1 night and have no idea if they fixed these issues.”

“What a wonderful place! I was only able to stay for 2 nights passing through the area but I know I will be back. The hotel is right on the lake, easy to get in and out, plenty of parking. I had a renovated room (#27) overlooking the lake from a large furnished balcony. Room was spacious and very well designed, bathroom and shower amazing as was the food in the restaurant. All staff extremely helpful and genuinely nice. Couldn't have been more perfect and can't wait to be back.”
