The beds were comfortable and washrooms too. They do not provide breakfast, but all day coffee and snacks are provided at the lobby. Rooms are well equipped. Good for short stays.”

“Staff A+ - friendly and inviting staff from the moment I stepped in until I left Location A+ - Night market 3 minutes walk, 711 around the corner, cafe next door, phantip bus depot 4 minutes, perfect central location for Surat Thani. Building Itself C- - if you are a light sleeper be warned, no soundproofing can hear every noise in the area, beds are rock hard and the shower is one of those open area showers with a curtain that's to close, you either need to leave the curtain open making everything else in the bathroom wet or keep getting stuck to the shower curtain while trying to clean yourself, also toilet water gun pressure low. If you're a heavy sleeper who wants to visit the markets and spend a night or two in surat thani this is the perfect location, if you're a light sleeper I would avoid it.”

And of course the dogs! :) The guardians of this place highly value nature, which is why the entire space is very natural, neat, clean, well-groomed, covered with jungle and well-kept beach. The views are stunning! What I also appreciate a lot is peacefull and calm atmosphere: only the sounds of nature can be heard. You can easily find rest, harmony and balance there. For other attractions you can visit a near village (grat street food, thai massage) or take a trip around this beautifull island (you can rent a scooter at Coco’s) or just swim a few meters away from the beach and have an exciting scuba dive experience! “Came for a day, you can purchase pool access through the spa. The massage was incredible, probably the best I’ve ever had. Service at the pool was wonderful, the staff went out of their way to make the kids happy. Lunch menu at the pool is great, with a wide variety of western meals and Thai food. We hoped to snorkel as well, but the water was too rough the day we went. They do have a small beach access you can use if the weather is better.”

“The staff is absolutely dedicated and very kind and 100% service oriented. We felt in the time we stayed here very well treated. Also the breakfast is rich with everything you need. Sparkling water would be a benefit. The only small downside maybe the side „garden view“ where you see on an empty not tidied building space … Due to the flood during the day you can’t lie at the beach and the pool side is very crowded and sun umbrellas are rare… if you swim a lot or don’t care you will enjoy here a lot. In the eve they Put up tents for dinner at the beach - very nice. All in all - we tested at least 10 hotels during our time in Thailand this time - and this one can be recommended.”

“Away from the crowd, quiet and with super friendly staff. It seems that the all the comments left by other guests are really taken into account and any inconveniences are improved. The only disadvantage is that it’s away from a regular shop, if you need one, but there are several restaurants around so you can live without ever moving out of Tanote Bay. Beach and underwater views are magnificent and the beach is listed as one of five snorkeling points around the island. We stayed in small bungalow and it could have more space for keeping items (bigger table, chair, etc., but except for that everything was fine. Shared bathroom (applies to small bungalows) is shared only with adjacent bungalow and this is not really an issue.”

“Nice hostel with big comfy beds! I didn't do a tour with them, so can only comment on the rooms. Good shower with hot water. Only 1 toilet for the dorm it seemed, but it was always available when I needed it. Small lockers available with your own lock, and I also saw 3 big lockers at the end of the beds that can fit full size luggage. Staff was very informative at check-in. I was dealing with an ear infection so couldn't hear properly but she wasn't mean about me making weird concentration faces and turning my head as she was speaking 😂 One thing to remember is don't lose the deposit paper because you have to return it along with the key card and towel to get your deposit back. I had the strawberry ice cream and it was good!”

The condition of the hotel is appalling, with a foul odor permeating the entire place, an abundance of mosquitoes infesting the room, peeling paint on the walls, and a restroom that rivals the worst of prison facilities.
