“The food here is not only delicious, the portion sizes are absolutely wack. On the menu, everything looks a tad pricey compared to other eateries in Bruck, but once you see the portions... Well let's just say that the value here is unbeatable. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, and despite the place being quite busy (including a pretty large birthday party), we didn't have to wait too long for service. The staff were friendly and quite chill, the food was very quick, and the experience overall was really good. Towards dhe end of our meal, the waitress brought us a bag to pack our leftovers in without us even asking which was a pleasant surprise. I'm definitely stopping by here again any time I'm close to Bruck!”

“Peace & Relax!!! The best place to calm down, detox and rehabilitation... I was impressed by the landscape as soon we arrived! I immediately "lower speed" of my brain and in a couple of hours I felt my body and soul in total harmony. The food in the restaurant was always fresh with high quality ingredients. “Just returned after staying for a week. The location couldn't be better, sat opposite the main gondola. The food was spot on - great quality and plenty of choice. The staff are also brilliant - they are friendly, attentive and really helpful. Having boarded in Austria several times in the past, I echo some of the other comments in saying this is way more that a 3* hotel and the food, staff and rooms are better than some of the 4/5* places I have stayed before.”

“Incredibly bad service with an overwhelmed staff which apparently is not able to handle the extra bookings during a busy GP night… The waitress talked back to us basically complaining about the fact that the restaurant is busy and using it as an excuse for not attending us for 45 mins (after food has been served)! Our opinion… either do not accept that many guests and keep your service at an acceptable level or hire additional service. For the fact that the hotel has 4 stars, I am appalled by the treatment as a paying guest. No sign of remorse when we have been providing the feedback… only providing excuses. No words left. By far the worst restaurant experience of our lives.”

“We went there on July 2023. The place was recommended by the hotel nearby. What’s great evening. The terrasse in the wine yard is just outstanding. The staff is very friendly and makes everything possible to help you. We recommended the various ham and cheese from the region. You can ask also a small glass of each local wine. Served in pots they make a perfect wine tasting. Highly recommended place.”

“I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Kölblwirt. Their menu is diverse, serving regional dishes and has plenty of vegetarian options. The soup, main course (grilled beef), and dessert were all exceptional. As for the service, it is way more five stars, due to the staff and chef exceptional kindness and friendliness. Several nearby places that were supposed to be open were unexpectedly closed, and one had a private function. With nowhere else open on a Sunday, I reached out to Gasthof Kölblwirt, even though their kitchen typically closed at 19:30. When I called, they said I could come, even though it was past the kitchen closing time. Despite my late arrival, they warmly welcomed me. I'm truly grateful for a delicious meal after a long day of hiking. Thank you for being hospitable and making me a memorable meal.”

“Lovely hotel right on a tramline from the station with very frequent trams. (We were travelling via interrail so that was very useful). Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Nice bar with courtyard garden, which you could see from the lift. All the rooms had double doors which made it extra quiet and we had a view over the park. The room was very pleasant, with a comfy bed and a coffee table with soft seats. The kettle came with a selection of teas. The shower room had underfloor heating, which felt very luxurious.”

Wilhelmer has a lot to offer they have lovely rooms to stay, a tennis court and not to forget they have a bowling alley next to the restaurant. “It is a nice hotel in a good spot (easily accessible in the centre by foot). The rooms are spacious and the bed was really good to sleep on. The breakfast was also amazing. However, where they extremely fell short was the service part. We came here to basically just sleep over for a company party. Firstly we had huge issues regarding the early check-in since our party timing was tricky. We tried to explain to the hotel that we don't really need to get the rooms, just the keys. They said it couldn't happen, and if we wanted to check-in early we needed to pay extra 30€. But, the reception works 0-24, so if we came late it would also work - so they claimed. We explained we might come more late than usual (since there was a party), so they were aware of that. When we arrived around 3 am, the receptionist there was extremely impolite, asking us why we didn't show earlier (even though it was communicated). He also claimed he almost sold our rooms to someone else (which we ridiculed extensively). The next day during check-out, the receptionists (they were quite nice) had troubles, because for some reason we were marked as a "no-show". So service was less than average (just because of that one unprofessional worker). Rest was good. Based on my experience, I doubt I would come back there for that price.”
