“This accommodation did have a lot to recommend it, but our room was dirty enough that I will not consider returning. The front desk staff and flowers were really lovely. However, when we walked into our room, it smelled like feet. Fortunately, the linens looked and smelled clean. There was visible mold growth on the shower grout and lots of buildup on the shower head. My biggest issue was the dried blood on the hygiene bags that had not been cleaned up after a previous guest — it was visible from a distance and right beside the toilet, so hard not to see. There was also hair on the floor in the corners of the bathroom. The air conditioning was nice in theory, but it didn’t work. We woke up seriously sweating in the night after it had been running for 5+ hours. It was a short, convenient trip to the airport by car. The hotel restaurant was closed for dinner. The nearby restaurants we tried (recommended by the hotel) served the worst food I’ve had in my 4 visits to Ireland and were expensive. Felt like a tourist trap.”

“I really enjoyed our stay at Temple. We had reservations at another hotel but when we arrived we were told children weren't allowed. The front desk attendant was just wonderful and it turned out to be the best place for us to stay. If I ever get back to Ennis Ireland I will for surely stay at Temple Gate. “Great place to stay with a family. Very spacious. Food in the bar is excellent in the evening. Lovely pool. We stay here regularly and have always enjoyed it. Staff are lovely and we always meet the same waitress, who always recognizes us. The resident cat always comes to visit when we arrive.”
