“Our team came to the hotel for a wrestling tournament. The property is spectacular, our room was perfect. Checkin was quick and easy. However, the breakfast could be a lot better. Had to inform the front desk that they were out of coffee a half hour in, then found mold on the bagels. The juice was watery. Whatever, still planned to leave a nice review. Our last night a few of us parents decided to hang out in the lobby everything was great front desk super fun and friendly. Once shift change the night lady decide to be super rude and sarcastic to us. Talking about “I run a tight ship” we did absolutely nothing wrong. Nowhere did we see that the lobby closed at a certain time yet she insisting we get out of the lobby as if our presence was bothering her. Considering the hotel was booked out because of the wrestling teams I would expect a lot better hospitality ESPECIALLY from a Hilton hotel. Customer service is everything.”

“The trip started off great but went south. Pros: -The front desk staff were wonderful. They helped us check in early and were very welcoming. -Our room was very clean. -The breakfast was your average hotel breakfast but it was great. Cons: -Housekeeping was supposed to come every other day but never came. We had to take our own trash out everyday and go to the desk for clean towels. The front desk was very apologetic but the housekeeping still never came to clean the room throughout our week stay -The parking lot was full even though I payed $10 a night. I knew from the booking that I would have to pay for parking and was okay with that. The problem is when I come back from my day and there is no packing spots left and many people without their parking tags. I should have a spot if I am paying nightly. If guests are paying this fee, there's should be towed every night to make room. -Maintenance came to our room twice throughout our stay to reset our TV. We never had issues with the TV until they came in. I am not sure exactly what they were reseting it for but I don't understand why it couldn't wait until after we left. The second time maintenance came to our room we had a sleeping tag on the door handle to take a nap. Next thing I know I am woken up by two maintenance men coming into my room. This is a MAJOR issue. I was sleeping, and even if they did knock, the do not disturb sleeping tag was hanging on my door. As a women I see this as a huge safety problem. I could have dealt with the other issues and not bothered to write a review but after this instance my stay was ruined and I feel scared to go back to a Hilton Inn knowing they allow people to just walk in.”

“First of all, Kinship Landing is a beautiful hotel located in downtown Colorado Springs. The rooms are cozy and modern, and the whole facility is warm and welcoming. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly. The location is iffy, it is downtown and several of the surrounding buildings are vandalized and boarded up with a large homeless population. We didn’t feel unsafe or threatened, but it is definitely something to be aware of when booking. I liked that we could text the “host” (front desk) for anything. I do think they need to freshen up their housekeeping and amenities. We stayed 5 nights and there’s a sign on the mirror stating that rooms (towels, linens, etc.) would be refreshed every 3 days but to let the front desk know if you needed anything before then. On our 3rd day the room was not refreshed, I went downstairs to ask for wash rags and they didn’t have any. On our fourth day I stripped the bed and put all our towels on the floor anticipating that housekeeping would be by to refresh our room. We returned at 5:30 and everything was as we left it. We requested a refresh and the host informed us that housekeeping left at 4:00 pm and they did not have access to the sheets. After asking twice, they finally gave us wash rags. Several of our towels had holes in them and some wash rags had stains on them. Parking is also $16 a night, which seems a little excessive on top of the cost to stay. Overall I would say our stay was good, I enjoyed the facility and the comfort of the room but I would like more convenience (clean sheets, towels, wash rags available) when staying in a hotel.”

If you get a room facing the back of the hotel you have a nice view of the mountain. I also appreciated the flavored water at the entrance and cookies at night! As well as the little pantry to purchase snacks!”

“My husband and I LOVE The Ramble! We stayed for our wedding and returned for our anniversary. The staff is so kind and accommodating, Jess is wonderful and so helpful. The rooms and lobby are decorated beautifully, and the cocktails are excellent! Overall great vibe. Extremely clean and well maintained rooms, we enjoyed the view from our room. Lots of great spots close by to visit for food and drink. Looking forward to our next visit!”

They were very accommodating with it though, just switch us to a new room that was good. The breakfast was ok, cold potatoes and they offered the same stuff everyday mostly. The listing states there’s a on site restaurant but that’s not accurate.”

“This property is quite spectacular. We stayed in the Shavano tiny house which was quaint and homey. The place was well decorated and had the BEST VIEW. I loved that they allowed our dogs at a reasonable flat rate and even provided treats and blankets so they could join us on the furniture! Full disclosure, we did have a few hiccups here (mostly with the hot water heater). That said, the owner (Whitney I believe) handled the instance promptly after we able to get ahold of her the next day. She was professional, understanding, and kind from the moment we arrived to well after we checked out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Paige & Alex”

“We love the Wildwood! We stayed here on our wedding day back in 2018 and LOVED the large Deer Ridge suite because of the space, view, and private hot tub. We just returned in December 2023 for a quiet baby-free evening just the two of us, and stayed in the exact same room. It was so special to stay there again. Watching the stars come out in the private hot tub was amazing - even in 10 degree weather! Following up with watching movies by the cozy fireplace and enjoying some much needed rest in the king sized bed, made for a perfect and rejuvenating parents’ retreat! We will be returning for another parents night out as soon as we can, we just love it here.”

“Stayed 1 night last October. This was an ideal stop for me in terms of a restful location along a river to unwind, and dark night skies. Cabin was very comfortable and had a well-equipped kitchen that had a small refrigerator, microwave, and an electric stove, plus cooking and eating utensils. You are responsible for cleaning whatever is used. A small gas heater adequately warmed the cabin. Although the bathroom was a bit chilly in the morning! Check-in and out was easy. If you are traveling through the area and want to avoid a hotel check this place out!”

“AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! Especially after hearing back from the owner or GM. 1. As a business owner, you have a lot of nerve saying this is my problem. ALL guests should be notified of the appalling condition of this hotel when they make a reservation. I spoke to the front desk BEFORE completing my Hilton Honors reservation, and she had every opportunity to mention it. 2. Those are the points and payment made by a shared account with my husband. He followed your protocol for me to use them, and frankly my personal business is not something you should even be mentioning on this review. It is tacky and unnecessary! 3. Perhaps in the future, you might want to take into consideration the sensitivities of your guests, as I have several serious health issues I am dealing with. But clearly, you don't have the aptitude for empathy. *** I needed a last minute hotel on Friday for 5 nights, and since I had Hilton Honors points, I went with this location after calling to inquire about availability. Imagine my complete shock when I pulled up to the front of the building to see the entrance crawling with construction crew, as they are remodeling the front of the building. I walked in feeling upset, but I was reassured they could put me in a room far from the construction area. After a brief tour of amenities & room, I agreed to keep my reservation. I did mention that advanced notice would have been helpful, but none was given, and I've heard from other guests they were unhappy about not knowing this piece. It seems worthy of mention for each reservation, given the severity of it all. The first morning, I was startled awake at 8am when the trucks and cranes outside my room in the back corner of 2nd floor started up. It took at least 2 hours for them to move all the equipment around, ruining the possibility for a sleep-in. While the accommodations are nice & clean enough, with an expansive free breakfast, the noise and lack of sleep has been difficult for me. I was looking forward to Sunday morning sleep-in, the only day of my 5-night stay I was told they would NOT be working, but they are out there now making an unbearable disturbance. I have not been comped for my time here or been offered a sincere apology for lack of information, therefore I was compelled to write this poor review. It's a shame!”

“The door in my room didn't shut all of the way, you had to use the lock to rachet it closed and there was still light around all sides of the door. The beds were horrible. I have camped on the ground and been more comfortable. If you're looking for a comfortable bed in a room that is actually private this is not the place. It was so bad I changed hotels and just ate the price of the room for one night. The only highlight of this trip was Doug. Doug, if you're reading this you were the only positive about our stay. “Had to make an unscheduled stop here due to poor driving conditions last night. We were able to book over the phone in under 5 minutes. The manager was super sweet, caring, and helpful. The room was tidy and stocked. There was free food and drinks for guests. I was very happy with my stay here and would absolutely recommend it. I want to shout out the manager Becky - she was going around in the morning checking on people, making conversation, and generally being a wonderful host. Helped us plan our next move and provided us with a better scraper for the car than we had on hand. I was very impressed with her hospitality. She deserves a raise.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Bivvi! Upon arrival, there was some mix-up with our beds that unfortunately took a few hours to correct, but in the end, we had a great stay! The manager was really helpful and kind, and his dog was a delightful addition to the hostel! We also made use of the outdoor hot tubs in the evening - clean and perfectly heated! Our rooms were also super clean, as was our ensuite bathroom. Beds were comfortable, and as far as hostels go for noise, this place was pretty good! Certainly not a rowdy party hostel, which we especially liked, but certainly still a great chill place to meet people, if desired. Amazing value for Telluride! We would definitely return.”
