K11 Artus
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

18 Salisbury Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

“The hotel boasts a modern design and offers stunning views of Victoria Harbour from the sky lobby. The room is generously spacious with a comfortable bed. However, the bathroom design poses some inconveniences. The shower door opens inwards, causing water to spill outside every time it's turned on. The washbasin platform is small, making it challenging to accommodate skincare products. While there is storage inside the mirror, turning on the lights heats up the mirror's interior. Accessing the ground level from the room can be time-consuming, taking up to 5-10 minutes. This is due to the need to take a lift to the 10th floor, navigate through an extensive lobby area, and then take another lift to the ground floor. The lifts are slow, and there's a noticeable and unusual temperature difference within them. Regrettably, the service falls short of expectations. Staff responsiveness is lacking; a simple request for bottled water in the lobby took over an hour to fulfill. Additionally, there is inconsistency regarding whether the bottled water is complimentary or chargeable. Despite having a lobby-level bar, it is rarely open. The breakfast selection is extremely limited and remains unchanged throughout a month-long stay, with high prices. Notably, despite Artus and Rosewood being part of the same group and in close proximity, billing is not integrated. As one of the most expensive hotels in Hong Kong, it's challenging to find compelling reasons to justify the high cost. While the hotel offers a good view of the harbor (similar to Regent Hotel) and proximity to K11 shopping center (shared with Regent, Rosewood, and Peninsula), it becomes difficult to discern unique features or experiences that would warrant such a significant expenditure.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable hotel, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the lobby until my departure, the level of friendliness, warmth, and genuine care displayed by the hotel staff was truly exceptional. The staff members are the heart and soul of this hotel. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their warm smiles and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home from the very beginning. Every interaction, whether it was at the front desk, in the restaurant, or during housekeeping, was filled with genuine kindness and willingness to assist.”

118 Soy St, Mong Kok, Hong Kong

“The bathroom was nice, with all the basic amenities provided and spacious. However, when we arrived at 3 PM, we couldn't check in yet. The staff informed us that the rooms were not available because previous guests hadn't checked out yet, advising us to return later for check-in. The location is excellent, near many main shopping streets. The service at the front desk was good.”

“We are currently halfway into our 5 days stay at this hotel and we found out that the house keeper broke my wife facial powder and we made a complaint to the front desk. The front desk told us later that the housekeeper claimed it was already broken fell all over the floor near the shoes area which is 2 meters away from where we neatly place all her makeups. My wife is very upset with the lie and we would have moved out immediately if we don’t have to attend the seminar early in the morning for the next two days. We decided not to come back to this hotel anymore in the future and we won’t come back to Hong Kong ever again. The powder is only 100 HKD but the damage to our feeling is a lot more. As for the room, the noise from people talking in the next room can be heard very clearly and it was annoying. We fixed the problem by turning on our TV to have the TV noise instead. Construction noise next door starts exactly at 8AM so you must be up by then. Location is bad now due to construction. The financial damage is 100 HKD for the broken powder but the psychological damage from this stay is so much more.”

“Owner/s and cleaning lady were nice. Downpayment is required upon reservation, cash payment upon check in - accepts HKD, USD, PHP. We were able to check in early, and leave our luggage on our last day at no extra cost. Free water (dispenser), electric kettle in every room, common ref, the microwave was on the other side (a different "unit"). A bit inconvenient when you want to heat something up. No long wait times at the elevator. Pretty safe. Rooms were alright, typical HK guest house - small, but clean. Only thing I hated was the smell of cigarette smoke through the vents.”
