“Good location and incredibly friendly and hospitable service. However, the rooms were a bit lacklustre as the room we stayed in had a shower faucet that was a bit broken making it hard to get the right pressure and temperature of the water. There were 1 or 2 crickets in the room we stayed in but it didn’t bother us as we were pretty close to the ground floor.”

“Just checked in an hour ago , room looks good. Staff are super helpful.. The 5 stars go to the hotel restaurant great staff and the eye filled steak was amazing... I love a good steak and the eye fillet was that. Really good quality meat and the chef cooked it exactly how I like it. I can't guarantee that yours will be as good as mine but mine is up in the t op 3 steaks from the last 12 months. Give it a go”

“We cannot fault Fernz. We are always welcomed like family, not just a guest. The rooms are very thoughtfully laid out with ample space to relax in. Beds are very comfortable . All parking is undercover. After our first stay we knew would be back when visiting Auckland. The service has continued to be excellent. Thank you for giving us a peaceful and secure 'home away from home ' Alison and Rod Ede.”
