“Really liked the hotel and its quality even though the interiour was a bit old school and audience rather older, it was the right type of setting for a calm visit in late summer. The staff was absolutely amazing, super helpful, professional and friendly. Also loved the garden and the breakfast! Can really recommend a stay!”

“We came for a short two night vacation. The location is beautiful, breakfast is delicious and served in a cafe with a breath-taking view of the water. The wellness center was great- pleasant, clean, relaxing, and kept with love. Staff were extremely friendly. The room itself is beautiful, with gorgeous wooden beams. The only tiny minus was that our bedroom window didn't have a clear view of the lake. So if that's important to you, ask for a room that has it. All in all, a wonderful experience!”

“the pros: clean rooms. good mattress. perfect location at the beach separated by a road. perfect breakfast. quick room service. stable and strong wifi. they have text via email to address small issues like room service. imessage would be better as the system responds time is far greater. the next we call for coffee to the room in the morning. which worked better than the text via email as respond time is slow and leaves expectation open and not addressed. the food over all is great. fresh and all kinds of variants. it’s feels like the hotel is run by a chef. the Germans have separate dog beaches. which is not too far from the hotel facing south. [when going to the beach be aware of plenty of nudes. they do not have dedicated nude beaches as loads of people doing it without hesitation. you walk you dog and suddenly you see all of the anatomy from all demographics. they do not have a sign of warning for that but plenty of other signs 🤪] the challenges: the service at the ‘weitblick’ is slow. really slow. on a Friday they needed 38 minutes between the courses. on the next Saturday after the appetizer I had to ask for the main to be served after 46 minutes wait and no action. and the restaurant was not by all means full. they apologized and offered shots. could have been easily avoided by a attentive staff and always leaves a bad taste for the whole weekend experience: expectation management is key for a great experience. when arriving via google maps or apple maps you will be directed to the back side of the hotel. weird. could be fixed or maybe they see a reason behind that issue. when leaving the elevator first time to check into your room, you will find no direction : left or right. so you get lost and have to to the math yourself with all luggage in hand. could be easily fixed. the parking garage offers couple of electric car chargers. as we arrived in an EV we were asking for the chance of charging. first: you can use the room key to access the garage. that’s convenient. you need a second key to start the charge at the stations. they charge €6 per hour. just if you charge or even the has been fully charged. so when arriving at 5pm and plugging in your car is full at 2am in the night. you extra as you obviously would not set the alarm to re-park your vehicle. that system with fix money per time is bad. it’s like you wanna fill a pool with 34.000 liter of water; they give you a garden hose and charge by the minute. first: please drop the key for the charger itself. your garage is already only accessible via authorized key. 2nd: offer plenty of regular power outlets: the German 230V Schuko outlet: every EV has a standard charge cable on board. even for a one night stay with up to 19h time, every electric can be charge decently that way. low cost in infrastructure to the hotel. as the €6 per hour is a rip off, we charged at the Kurverwaltung approx 700m away from the hotel for €5 in total energy. the hotel would have charged us €54 for the same outcome. definitely something to think about.”

“Nice staff, good beer, reasonably priced. What's not to like.”
Fischländer Weg 35, 18347 Wustrow, Germany
“The Hotel is next to a national road with traffic very frequently day and night. The room had no sound insulating windows. The location of the hotel is of the beaten track for travelers of public transport. Rooms are similar to B&B level, impression is such as an 3 star Hotel in the 70's. Food offered is independent from the season (e.g.dumplings, roasted pork, red cabbage in summer). The Hotel and parking area is overloaded with signs of penalty for not following certain rules. All in all value for money is not appropriate, prices in summer are way too high particular in comparison to other hotels in that range (e.g.chains such as ibis etc.) and there is no particular family owned style which would justify the price. In fact the owner responded in a feedback resistant and agressive manner particular to reasonable complains about the room. He refused room changes even while other rooms were available. Support was not offered due to effort & costs which would require it - from his perspective. It is neither a welcoming not recommendable Hotel.”

“Excellent restaurant - food was delicious (we ordered the schnitzel, tagliatelle, and waffle ice cream)! Superb, friendly, professional service and a staff member even spoke English fluently! Was very impressed by the whole place from the cute seafarer’s decor to the staff’s friendly attitude, and of course, the scrumptious food! This place is professionally run and I highly recommend it to everyone in the area! I am so happy I found a new spot to go to near the beach! Review update: We tried the creme brûlée and it is indeed delicious! Service is always impeccable. Love this place.”

“Hotels has paint falling of all over the place, 2 person room is on the top and has slanted walls. There was still dust and spider webs in the room. So they don't get deep cleaned. Floor is made of wood, so it squiks everywhere. A woman from the hotel staff barged into the men's dressing room, started, and then kinda yelled that is the swimming pool was about to close. No sorry or what (we were 4 minutes past closing time). A little knock would have been nice. Also there was a wedding party, that apparently had a smoke machine or sorts. And they let the smoke build up in the hallways, so on 1AM the alarm ring. Imo ots Party the staff who let it come this far. But the staff also didn't follow there steps afterwards, and just left everyone in theire room. The hotel and the old hotel (with Restaurant) are not connected from within, so you will need to walk outside if you want to go swimming, restaurant etc. The WiFi is free and available, but it's with a space x dish which is not placed optimal. The averege speed is 1mb/s if it doesn't drop. I hope they sometime would enable "Quality Of Service" so the speed gets better and more fair devited. But it's free so I can't blame about this. It's in a quite area, and has a nice green garden where you can walk around a bit”
