“Despite the abundance of Italian restaurants in the country, you'd be surprised by how rare it is to find GREAT Italian pizza. I've been to countless Italian restaurants in my decade-long stay in Thailand, both in Bangkok and Chonburi but very few are memorable and worth returning to. Many people assume that being Italian automatically makes you a great chef, but that's just a stereotype. Many authentic Italian restaurants make GOOD pizza, but I always felt like it was either too expensive (for what pizza is worth) or simply not at THAT level an authentic Neapolitan pizza should be and taste like. Frankie, at first, didn't inspire confidence in me. The name certainly doesn't sound like your typical Italian restaurant, which is why I postponed checking it out for such a long time and boy was I wrong doubting it. The other reviews were absolutely right, pizza here is absolutely fantastic! My only regret is not coming here sooner! Prices are reasonable and the taste just takes me home. Give this place a try, you won't regret.”

“I don't know what makes this place a resort rather than just another tired, dated hotel. The pool is very small and we saw nobody using it. The room is an odd floor-plan with a quite small bathroom with a cramped shower, so small that the bathroom sink had to be put outside the bathroom in the main room area. The bathroom sink, which was not in the bathroom but immediately to your left as you enter the room, had a very odd faucet which we had never seen before and didn't like, picture attached. I never saw anything like it before. You had to use your wet hands to twist the end of the faucet to get water to run, which is hard when your hands are wet. It was just odd. The room AC unit swing function didn't work properly. The room was a little dark and sad looking. We thought at 1500 baht this room was really overpriced. Oh, and well into the night we heard the loud thumping of music outside from a nearby club which made it difficult to sleep. We won't be staying here again. And they wanted a 1000 baht deposit when we checked in. Also they did not take credit cards and told us cash only or bank transfer.”

“Hotel looks new and clean. There’s a pool in between the two buildings. Rooms aren’t so spacious. Some parts of the hotel may not be so convenient for wheelchair users (especially the way from back building to the front) Location is no doubt wonderful. 1 min walk to beach, convenient store, and street food. There’s parking space under the building and in front (no shade). Service is reasonable with the affordable price.”

“I ate at the restaurant, did not stay at the hotel. The food was good but not great, and it lacked a little bit to reach 5 stars. The lamb rack was good and very tender, but the gravy was bland. The yam tale was also good but a little bit on the sweet side and not in the perfect sweet-sour-salty balance that Thai food is so well known for. Another example of the little bits that lacked to make it a 5 start experience, I ordered the hot lava cake with coconut ice cream. It turns out that they were out of the coconut ice cream, and the hot lave cake was served cold. It still tasted good though. The espresso was of better than average quality and the location is great just on soi buakhao, perfect to watch people passing by and the normal semi chaos in the traffic. This restaurant have the possibility to be one of the best middle segment in the soi buakhao area, just a few bits here and there that's missing.”

“Good : Check in late around 9pm, there are Front office personnel to assist , fast check-in. Lots of mosquitoes in the lobby. Parking space is enough , guard is there to assist too. Bed and pillow is comfortable , AC cold enough. Soap and towel , drinking water provided. Simple breakfast is good for us. To improve: light in the room is not enough, abit dark. AC compressor is beside , there is a room , and it is really noisy. Some mosquitoes in the room. Stopper at the bathroom behind the door is not in good position (on the floor to access the shower area) , people might hit or step on it, very dangerous, should put at the top of the door , not on the floor . Breakfast time is only until 9am, time is too tight. There are also lots of mosquitoes in the restaurants when we took our breakfast at 8am… get a few mosquitoes bite :( The rate for a night at this hotel for us was 1150baht and it is not worth with the above conditions…”

“Very good. Soi Buakhao is very crowded and fun. If you don't like noisy areas, you should stay at another hotel. The accommodation fee is cheap and there is a pool. I couldn't borrow a towel to use in the pool. They don't have a lot of towels. You can walk to Tree Town. There is a currency exchange office in front of the hotel. There is a 7-Eleven nearby. They have no breakfast, so I ate at the restaurant next door. Late check-out at 14:00 was plus 200 baht. It's kind and good.”
