“Good location, friendly staff, nice breakfast and service. However, rooms have poor ventilation, windows are unopenable, the only source of fresh air is in a bathroom. But during my stay the downstairs neighbors were smoking cigarettes and marijuana in the bathroom and the smoke was coming into my room. I had to sleep with the smell of smoke.”

Hotel Hot Nayarit
4.1
( 8 reviews )

Calle Platino 25, Valle Gómez, Cuauhtémoc, 06240 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico

“The place is nice and accessible, good prices, the rooms agreed with the price, but they don't do the cleaning well, they left us a jar with used things and all morning you can hear noises and shouts from the staff, they don't let us sleep, it's more of a hotel. step not to spend the night.”

( 8 reviews )

“Looks like an american motel. Its ok because quite. You can use bycicles for free. Didn’t like the carpet floor. There no common area to sit down. The breakfast is not included and expensive at the restaurant. Also quite cold in the morning. Receptionist is friendly and helpful. You can’t enter chapultepec park from that location so don’t get excited.”

Suites Alcazar
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

Calle Ramón Alcazar 26-Local A, Tabacalera, Cuauhtémoc, 06030 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico

“Excellent, affordable and very clean hotel, with staff very attentive to your needs. My first room was a bit noisy, so the staff offered to show me four different rooms to choose from the day after. The rooms are of good size and pillows/bed comfortable, however it can get very hot as the ventilation is not fantastic and there are no fans/AC. The bathrooms have an odor to them due to the drainage system from the shower so be sure to cover them up again with the included plastic disc after showering. I would recommend not staying in a room facing the street as it can get loud. I think staying in a lower level floor may help with the heat. I would stay here again as the location is central. The area is very safe during the day but vagrants may appear at night especially around the monument.”

Suites Elba
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 03:00 PM

Rio Elba 31-Local D, Cuauhtémoc, 06500 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico

“Beware!! It's literally a hole in the wall. It's dark, and it is definitely an apartment complex converted into a hotel. No reception area, no front desk. There's a tiny backroom where the employee sleeps at night on a sofa. Their front door to the building is always locked and you need to ring the door bell to enter. The hallway to the building are always dark so as you walk into it, it will light up automatically by sensor. The beds & pillows are hard and the phones in the room do not work, no central air, or ac/heater units, only a tiny window. No iron or board. Loud, drunks screaming at night who stayed in the building and nothing was done. It's like a two room unit with a hall in between where the hall has an automatic sensor light that goes on and off all night. Their online photos is NOT true to how it really looks in reality. I will never return there again.”

Hotel Juarez

Closed until 03:00 PM

1a. Cda. 5 de Mayo 17, Centro Histórico de la Cdad. de México, Centro, Cuauhtémoc, 06000 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico

“Nice place, was on the fourth floor and wifi was fine. I requested a room with a balcony and they were very nice and accommodating. Staff is very hardworking and helpful, they are also very respectful about cleaning and leaving your things. The area is amazing, especially for the price- and the weather is great in July. It does get loud at night if you leave the window open, but melatonin can help with this and it’s a result of the location. Really my only issue was how hard the beds are- it was really bad for my mother’s back problems and not great to rest on when we got back so consider this if you are looking for a long stay. This is also one of the only places with a working elevator. Overall, this hotel was great and charming, and the staff are some of the best out there.”

Hotel Faro

Andaz Mexico City Condesa - A Concept By Hyatt
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

Aguascalientes 158, Colonia Condesa, Cuauhtémoc, 06100 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico

“Our room had sewer smell combined with perfume smell. We left the window open for hours to get rid of the smell but it was so powerful that it did not go away. Even the coffee sticks in the room smelled like perfume for some reason. We requested to change our room and got a new room which was better and less smelly than the previous room. I don’t know if there is anything the hotel can do when there is sewer smell from bathroom. The check-in lobby, cafe and restaurant look fancy but the room is not. It is small and the window is blocked by a giant pink pillar. The escalator did not work for three days while we stayed in the hotel.”
