Service was also top notch. The entire team was friendly and helpful and very prompt with any requests. The decor will remind you of a small boutique hotel of years ago. We plan to return!”

“We booked this hotel last minute when another place we had booked didn't have availability to extend our stay. We were looking for times square area for convenience and this was perfect! The staff was all super nice and helpful. The location is great, close to so much and great restaurants. The room was perfect! So clean, updated, heating/AC worked well and quiet (third floor). I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in this area. It had a nice quiet boutique hotel feel. The rooftop seating area was a nice bonus too!”

“I booked this hotel through a 3rd party and thought I’d booked a queen, only to arrive and find out I booked “a queen or 2 doubles”. My husband is 6’3 and can not fit in a double bed. I asked Rosa at the front desk to please help and she advocated for us and worked magic to change our room from a double to queen. Thank you so much Rosa! You were so helpful and fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful, lots of exposed brick with a great cozy lobby. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet. The bathroom was modern with a big shower with a high shower head. Had a great time”

“A great little hotel in a convenient location for us. Staff was pleasant and attentive, the room was clean (adequate, though certainly not spacious. The one recurrent problem is that even though the beds were made by housekeeping each day, the flat sheet they used to make the bed kept getting loose. Even if one only pulled the blanket out from the bottom, that was it the sheet was loose and came out. We were there for 3 nights, same thing each night. Not sure if they need bigger sheets or better staff training on how to make the bed? There was construction on the street and in the neighborhood. However, I have to give the hotel high marks on sending an email out to us after the reservation was made warning us of what to expect. The information in the letter about the specific entrance location and noise/amenity impacts was perfectly on target. It allowed us to make the informed decision as to whether to keep the reservation or switch to another hotel. We did decide that the impacts seemed like something we could deal with. Without the letter, it might have been complaint worthy, but the proactive notice was greatly appreciated!”

“We stayed for 2 nights during the week for an event at MSG. For the most part this stay really exceeded my expectations. The room was nice and clean. It had kind of a weird smell when we first got in, but it dissipated after a few minutes of running the AC. It was more like a stale bleach smell from clean linens, than any kind of mildew or something like that. The room was decent sized, it had a microwave and mini fridge, a small safe for valuables, you can sign into your Netflix on the TV. The layout was a little awkward with the bed placed directly in front of the bathroom; so if you are not already intimately aware of your partner's bathroom habits you will be. The staff was friendly, responsive, helpful. The location is fantastic, walking distance to many popular destinations. The breakfast buffet did get a bit busy at times, but staff were constantly replacing empty dishes, so you didn't have to wait for something. This is a big money saver in the city obviously and we were pleased to go both mornings we were there. They also mentioned a free happy hour of wine and beer, which we did not partake in, but that would also be a big money saver if you do. We will definitely stay here again.”

“Definition first - the Superior Double Room is a small room with one double bed. Room was clean and made up daily. Although numerous small issues were encountered. Cabinet door fell off when I tried to access the safe inside. The chair was shaky. Room lighting is not cozy and better bedside table lamps could fix the issue. Shower curtain was too short and lots of water splashes into main bathroom floor. The through-window AC was situated in such a way that it was catching water dripping off the roof making it fun bedtime experience. On the plus side the room is very clean. Good bed and bathroom towels. Very conveniently located next to the Subway and citybike station. Walking distance to the central park.”

“Traveling alone can be very intimidating, especially to NYC, but this hotel definitely made the process much easier! The room was clean, organized, and QUIET throughout my stay, and although it was a little on the smaller side, the location in proximity to times Square and Broadway shows made up for it!! The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout my stay as well, and were able to offer dining suggestions and help with directions. Overall I felt the value for my money here has exceeded my expectations in every way, and as a single traveller, this place truly felt like a home away from home. Will definitely be returning again soon!”

“3 star hotel is s joke...one room with a small, small sink and that's it. One bed barely fits in a room and seriously that's it. You have to share the bathroom, a public bathroom with one shower for the whole floor of rooms, about 7-9 rooms. Each floor has two shared bathrooms but our floor, 3rd, had one of the bathrooms closed due to toilet problem. I don't know how this is a 3 star hotel and had good ratings, 4.2 star. What are people thinking? By the way, no elevators either. The bedsheet was not that clean, had spots. We slept with our clothes on and on top of the sheets. The manager was wonderful though.”

“I saw the reviews but for the price I had to spend, other hotels reviews were way worse. I honestly wasn't disappointed at all! I came for a few nights away for myself and I thought the location was great. 5-10 minute walk to the subway/train that will take you right into Manhattan. Great Chinese food a block away. Everyone I saw walking were pleasant and helpful when I was lost. I drove with out of state plates and never worried about my car and I could see it from my window. The room was more like a bachelor pad, which I was not expecting the blue lights, but it was fun. I would have given 5 starts but I had to wait a while for someone to come to the front desk and check me in along with another person waiting. If you want a location near the train then your going to have to hear the train go by at some point but being in the city, it wasn't anything unusual. The water took a few minutes to heat up but I'm sure there were people trying to shower at the same time. I didn't have any issues with the stay and the staff were very pleasant.”
