“Por is another hotel that has copied BED with minimalist hotels catering to tourists who are between backpackers and the 4* hotels. This branch is white paint, which makes it open and bright. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is similar to all the other branches, a bit lower quality than BED. Location is quiet and easy to walk to food at the south gate. They have some difficulties with the hotel next door, so they have parking restrictions at the front, which is not okay for Thais who seem to come in big cars.”

“I loved my stay at Lamphu House. It's a fantastic guest house centrally located in Old Town with great amenities for an affordable price. Stayed in a two double bed room with our own balcony facing another building. We didn't need to pay extra for a poolside view as long as we had a comfortable room, which was spacious with good sized closet, mini fridge for our drinks, and a clean bathroom. The shower area did not have a curtain so there is still potential for splash back, but still a clean space. You're walking distance from convenience stores, cafes, and about 15 minutes from the night markets. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Chiang Mai.”

The shared bathrooms are very clean with T.paper, body soap, shampoo & towels. There are dorms for ladies & cost 250. & rooms 450. THB approx. Nice garden sitting area and a small breakfast menu to start your day. It is managed by a wonderful & welcoming family and smiling staff. 60BH is more for peaceful, respectful travelers, children and families..Not realy for big party people. Small bathroom, but adequate. Villas have a nice sit out surrounded by trees, but youll be surrounded by mosquitoes. Breakfast buffet was good. Pool is small.”
