Massimo is always around asking if everything is good and how were we served, I found it very thoughtful and nice from him really nice! Food amazing and above all great location! The only reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 is that the beds are a bit hard and sleeping is s bit uncomfortable, but the cleaning is excellent and the rooms were top in our 5 days there. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.”

Cypress trees and hills make a picturesque backdrop for a nice break with a glass of wine. Enjoyed the tranquility of the pool to the sound of the cicadas one day also. Would highly recommend a stay at Ca Spelli!”

“This hotel was very nice for its price, staff is super friendly and helpful with directions and helping us getting around the area, view was amazing from our room as it is facing the ocean, the breakfast was delicious and had a vast variety of food and drinks. Room was decently spacious accommodating 2 people. The only concern was the paper thin walls, you could hear basically every door open and close and conversations from joint rooms.”

“5 star price in a modest 3star hotel To make it short for those who do not like to read the whole review, the 15m2 hotel room is NOT WORTH THE MONEY. As usual I try to write my reviews based on facts and not emotion driven. In this case I felt trapped by a too high price per night (260€/night for a 15m2 simple guest room) compared to the offered services. I complained immediately to the owner (Elisa). However the behavior of the owner towards her guests was not professional and disrespectful. Elisa does definitely not master customer relationship management at all! For transparency reasons I have announced that I will write a review based on the experience made. The hotel is located near Procchio beach. À public road leads to the beach. The hotel is an old structure, which has been partly renovated. Superior rooms are rooms in which the bathroom received new tiles and probably new equipment. We have had a superior room and I can confirm the new tiles. As for the bathroom's equipment, I have some doubts as the shower switches permanently between hot and cold. The bathroom and especially the shower are that tight and tiny that I almost suffered claustrophobia in the shower (man of 190cm).The room furniture is a cheap functional Ikea style furniture. Matrasses are new and good. The wardrobe has just one door to close. One part is always open. The room was lacking a safe for valuables and a mirror. No coffee or tea making possibility in the room. Cleaning was OK. The breakfast room is inside of the building in a echoing - 1 floor with partial view on the garden. The noise level of the breakfast area is very high and it is chaotic around the tight buffet area. On the buffet you can find a variety of mostly industrially produced cakes. No typical local products. Fruit choice is limited to apple and pears. Some food is only available on the first come first served principle. A regular refill is lacking. The staff is nice and friendly. The swimming pool is small. The reason why I am listing all these different facts is because in my opinion the price of 260€/night is not in line with the poor services which this hotel offers. For the offered services a price of 150-200€/night would be acceptable and I would not complain. As we complained about the price/quality ratio, the owner showed us as "alternative" a lower category room for the same price with a slightly larger but not renovated bathroom. Honestly, we are not complicated people but if someone tries to dupe you, my tolerance limit is exceeded. Under these conditions the alternative was of course inacceptable. The cancelling option for the 6days stay was also not given as the full amount was due. We have been trapped. In order to avoid other guests to fall into the same trap here is my WARNING and CONCLUSION : If you want to spent a 5 star price for a modest hotel, this is your choice. If you are looking for a good relation quality/price, I can definitely NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.”

“The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Sub par cleaning throughout and lack of maintenance made it look shabby. No bellman, no change at desk, no handyman to fix anything. I was there for 6 days and complained about the water not draining in the shower every day. Got told the owner doesn’t want to pay for a bellman to help with our bags. After telling us it’s not his job, the front desk attendant finally helped us. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and won’t ever go back. Not sure how it is a 4 star hotel.”

“Beautiful old hotel near the water (but no ocean views). Bathroom was pretty luxurious and spacious for a mid-priced European hotel. We missed breakfast but apparently it might have been included in the price. The front desk made us dinner reservations for a cute café down the street. As much as I love that old world feel, our room was borderline kitschy and the AC didn't work very well. Overall pleasant experience in an historic building.”

“Stayed in this hotel for a week,everything was fine. Friendly,polite and helpfull staff. Amazing location,bus stops just in 1 min walk. Gorgeous view from window. Just in mornings when traffic is busy and window is open ,you can feel traffic fumes and noise. But in general its nice place to stay and explore city,also not far to go to the beach with the bus,shopping street is just arround the corner. Also,breakfast was tasty and fresh. If you stay for short time,I recomnend to stay in this place.”
