“I visit The Crown every other Friday for coffee and lunch and also work from there. I have always found the staff incredibly welcoming and friendly. There are lots of lovely locals who frequent the bar and restaurant. The food is exceptional and very different to anything else on offer in similar venues. I would thoroughly recommend anything on the tapas menu and also the rice dish served in a pineapple half. Well worth a visit!”

“We stayed overnight for a family funeral and were pleasantly surprised by the generous size of the room, which had been kindly upgraded. It had everything we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable . The staff were all very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had the wake there and they put on a decent spread with delicious homemade cakes and homemade quiches made by Meg, who organised everything with care . It's the perfect size for an intimate occasion. The location is about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Yeovil , which suited us as it was 5 mins drive to the crematorium. We'd definitely stay here again !”
