“Having stayed at this hotel when it first opened many years ago I was thrilled to come back and see the beautiful refurbished space. The bedrooms are lovely, bright, modern and spacious. The service tries hard and is mostly great but the pool area needs more attentive servers. We went with two young children and whilst the hotel were welcoming it is very much not a child friendly hotel. No children’s menus and it has a very quiet, grown up feel. Especially around the swimming pool. I think I would have enjoyed the weekend much more if it had been an adult trip!”

“To say that the service was lacking is an understatement. The rooms smell very bad, (my bathroom smelled like urine, and it is separate from the toilet). The corridors are creepy and tiny, the decor is horrible, and the rooms at the end of the corridor didn't have any wifi at all. When my parents said that the shower fills the entire bathroom with water the clerk didn't seem to care. When we asked to sit outside in a lit sitting area he blew us off not getting up from his seat when we mentioned that the garden is very dark. I can keep going but in conclusion - luckily for us we only had 1 night there and we could get away from there.”

“We stayed for three nights in this wonderful CAF chalet. The welcome was warm, and the food was really delicious. I love the system of sharing tables in the dining room, and being served some home-cooked French food. The Provençal lentil dish was particularly yummy, and my children all advised me to get the recipe.”

“A center-village hotel, traditional, wooden-floors creakily welcoming; the whole replete with real heavy woods. Rooms clean, comfortable, lacking air-conditioning but the hotel is stone-built with half-meter thick walls so that, much of the year, air-con would be superfluous. Staff (family?) friendly and efficient. Small internal bar acts as reception desk and cashier station, but now (July) pretty much everything is outdoors with a large restaurant and lounge area. Meals, generous, good value for money. Easy to linger. A very pleasant experience overall. To be repeated.”

“Very friendly owners, attentive, smiling, and always available to satisfy the customer. Very clean room, with nice decoration, towels on the bed and a tall TV. The sheets smell very good. In the bathroom, the washing gel in a dosing pump based on Marseille soap pleasantly perfumes the entire room. Very good breakfast and hearty meal, excellent using fresh produce. The nights are not hot, despite the heatwave. No need for air conditioning or fans. The nights are calm with the pleasant sound of a fountain in the background.”
