“This is our second out of season visit to La Trapera. Our preference is to visit out of season to enjoy the peace and tranquility. The site, run by a lovely, friendly family, is located in a beautiful valley. The pitches are clearly marked and each pitch has its own electricity and water connection. The toilet/shower block is modern and kept immaculately clean. Lunch at the restaurant is an experience not to be missed, the food is superb. This location is a paradise for walkers or cyclists. Directly from the site you have access to paths roads and tracks to suit every interest and ability. Our preference was simply to walk up into the hills along the stream running next to the site. We picked hawthorn berries and enjoyed homemade hawthorn ketchup for the rest of our holiday. A round trip (easy walk) of just over a mile takes you into pradoluengo, where there is a well stocked supermarket, banks etc. We cannot recommend this site highly enough.”

“The Hotel, on the first floor of a building, although very minimal, is absolutely clean, functional and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The room in particular, although small in size, manages to be absolutely livable even with three of us and with all our luggage open; the bathroom then has all the necessary equipment in a very small space. The reception service was helpful and professional, and also provided us with a map and several very useful tips for eating and generally experiencing the city by visiting its best aspects.”

“Lovely place in a peaceful village. Great reception with a beer and a wine. Spacious, clean and interesting room in a lovely old building. We ate in and had a tasty home cooked meal and a large spread for breakfast in the morning. Everything was cooked by our host. All very reasonably priced. Would recommend it!”

“Great hotel, wonderful service. Great for pilgrims too. Unfortunately a bit too far from downtown to walk- 30-40 minutes. Even though the walk would be nice by the river. Great breakfast included, awesome coffee. Loved out stay there so much!”

“My Grandmother and I stopped here for rest doing the camino. Lourdes is just gorgeous! She made us feel so welcome. Did our washing and made us a delicious healthy dinner. We felt like we were in her home. Her daughter and her friend Christian are very friendly and helpful too. Great energy and great vibes ✨️”
