Hotel Peter And Paul

Closed until 03:00 PM

2317 Burgundy St, New Orleans, LA 70117, United States

“This hotel was the reason I booked a trip to New Orleans- and it did not disappoint. It provided such a unique experience and added so much more depth to our vacation. In order to appreciate it fully, be sure and go to the hotel website, and click on the "Explore" tab, and watch the "The Holy Ghosts" videos! These are beautifully made interviews with people who grew up in the area and either attended the school or went to church at Peter and Paul. The restaurant (Elysian) is spectacular, and the gift shop (Sunday Best) is adorable. Walkable to the French Quarter, but far enough to get some peace and quiet when you need it. There's an amazing bakery (Ayu Bakeshop) a couple of blocks away.”

“We had 2 days post-cruise to look around New Orleans. We did French Quarter before the cruise (not for us) and Garden District after (beautiful area with amazing homes). The outside of the hotel is nothing to get excited about, the lobby …”

Hotel Villa Convento

616 Ursulines Ave, New Orleans, LA 70116, United States

“This place is in a fantastic location. Really close to a lot of great hot spots. The room I had was a little more rustic than I was hoping for. Specifically, the bathroom may be ready for an upgrade. There was also issues with the hot water as there hardly was any. For the price, I was hoping for a little more.”

The Haunted Hotel

“We were given a "courtyard room" B1. It was a King size bed that had seen better days. One side was literally broken and compressed which squeaked every time you sat much less rolled over in the bed. It was so hard my shoulder hurt and could not get decent sleep. The bathroom had a leak so the floor remained wet and we had to place towels to keep from getting our feet wet. The owners were contacted and "thanked us for the heads up" but did not fix the issue while we were there. TV did not work, cell phone service was sketchy in the room and NO it was not haunted. The only ghost we saw was the figurine going into the bathroom. Pic included for your pleasure. The door to enter was a locked gate that did not lock so unsafe and anyone could walk into this area. Good point was location as close to everything and the owner was pleasant and allowed us a later check out time than stated. BTW, check out is 10am not 11am as shown on GOOGLE. Based on overall experience, this hotel is overpriced and we did end up staying in two other places that were nicer and less money.”

Chimes Bed And Breakfast

1146 Constantinople St, New Orleans, LA 70115, United States

“Very nice place to stay in the Garden District. The room we had was clean and laid out nicely with room to put our things down, sit down, hang clothes (decent size closet) and a nice bathroom with great water pressure! Jill was very accommodating to ensure we had everything we needed, including holding our luggage on our last day in NOLA as we had a night flight home. Location: this was key for us as the Garden District is outside the Quarter and thus we felt we were able to escape back to a quieter part of town after enjoying NOLA. The other great thing about the location is that you are very close to the great restaurants along Magazine Street. Highly recommend the Chimes!”

Henry Howard Hotel

2041 Prytania St, New Orleans, LA 70130, United States

“This is a wonderful hotel. It was a laidback and a quiet experience. I was able to get early check in (probably due to the timing of our stay). Tyler, the front host was super welcoming and helpful in l offering us places and things to do in the area. Any other staff we encountered was super helpful and polite as well. Our room was nice. It had tall ceilings, wood floors, and other characteristics that made the stay nice. If I had only one wish, it would be that our room had a mini refrigerator and microwave.”
